    • 150g Light Cream Cheese (Philadelphia Lightest recommended)

    • 1/2 cup Pasta Water (reserved after cooking pasta)

    Equipment

    1. Large pot (for cooking pasta)

    2. Medium pan (for cooking beef)

    4. Knife and chopping board

    5. Large spoon or spatula

    6. Measuring spoons

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Prepare the Pasta

    1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt.

    2. Cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

    3. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest and set the pasta aside.

    Step 2: Cook the Beef

    1. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a medium pan over medium-high heat.

    2. Add the lean beef mince, Italian herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    3. Break the beef into smaller pieces using a spatula and cook until browned.

    4. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.

    Step 3: Make the Sauce

    1. Heat 2 tsp olive oil in the same pan over medium heat.

    2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

    3. Add chopped tomatoes, bell pepper, Italian herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    5. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

    Step 4: Combine Everything

    1. Return the blended sauce to the pan and stir in the light cream cheese until melted.

    2. Add the reserved pasta water gradually to reach your desired sauce consistency.
