Regresa el Vibes Web3 Music Competition en su semana 27, es una alegría siempre poder presentarse por acá, donde la abundancia de talento sobresale. Para esta nueva edición les quise traer el cover song de una canción que, en mi juventud, fuera en detalle ese acercamiento necesario, a la balada romántica.
Recuerdo que cuando se estrenó por primera vez, fue toda una revolución en la juventud que comenzaron a conocer música del artista de origen mexicano, Kalimba. Precisamente fue el sencillo que lo catapultó al estrellato, al que le siguieron otros temas de igual factura, bastante interesantes en sonoridad por su potente voz. No tengo ningún recuerdo en particular que compartir sobre la canción, solo que se quedó grabada como una de esas tantas canciones, que de vez en cuando tarareamos.
Es una lástima la historia detrás de este cantante, el cual, como cualquier otro ser humano imperfecto, se vio influenciado por la fama, la toma de malas decisiones. Pero no deja de ser una bonita canción de amor, particularmente siempre la quise tocar en la guitarra, o cantarla en algún escenario de la escuela. Aunque no sé si en aquella etapa me hubiera atrevido a tal contienda con mi timidez.
Quiero aprovechar la oportunidad para felicitar a los amigos músicos, que quedaron ganadores de la pasada edición del Vibes Web3 Music Competition.
