Hello gardeners!!!!
Good day everyone,I hope you are all doing great today.
I am glad that I have something to share in this community,and so excited for our vegetable garden soon.
This back part of the house was looks like a mini forest haha ,I forgot to take a photo on how it looks like before we cleaned it.
Since my husband is busy on his work ,he don't have time to clean in this area but then one day ,during his day off he started cleaning it because of the chicken haha.
So story time ,it was my son's fourth birthday when we prepared something for his birthday,we have native chicken and when my brother in-law was about to butcher the chicken ,it suddenly ran to this area where a lot of grass and small trees.
My husband trying to find it and started cutting the small trees and pull out the grasses and there he was started to clean this area haha.Good thing they found the chicken and did'nt scape anymore lol!
It was happened 3weeks ago anyway and my husband stopped on cleaning it as he needs to go to work but then my mother in-law's brother came here and decided to live here.
He was staying in mountainous area in the next town and felt bored on living alone.His children had already their own family and some of them are living in the cities.Actually the last time he visited here he asked my in-laws if he can stay here and make a vegetable garden and now he decided to lived here as he lives to stay with his elder sister my mother-in-law.Aside of gardening he knows also a tailor,he likes our place coz many people are living nearly here unlike the place he was living.
So Tatay Doming,my mother in-law 's you get brother continue to clean and after a week he able to clean the area .
We still needs to clean this area and maybe today when my husband came home form his work ,we will help tatay to clean and burn the dried grass and small trees
We need to removed this tuod or it is the tree was cut.
We're going to removed this small branches and trees and we're going to use it as a firewoods.
My mother in-law went to DA (Department of Agrarian)office to ask some free seeds.Since it is expensive now ,good thing there's a free seeds in DA.
We had here seeds of petchay,tomato ,squash and eggplant.
The eggplant seeds is already ready for seedlings making .
Tatay Doming is planning to plant a string beans ,so he already prepared this .Hopefully tomorrow I can buy some seeds of string beans in the town .
And that's it for today ,I am excited to share the updates on our vegetable garden soon.We still needs to work and give some efforts for our garden but I know our sweats and hardworks will be paid off after we can achieve what we want for our garden.
