Me levanté justo a las 7:30 pensando qué preparar para el desayuno. Creo que toda madre, lo que más piensa es en qué menú preparará para alimentar a su tropa. Y pues tocó hacer unos sándwiches muy ricos con pan de molde, jamón, queso, tomate y un toque de mayonesa.
Normalmente voy a la iglesia, pero hoy me tocó sacar un pedido de panes, que me habían encargado. Así que, con la cocina convertida en un pequeño obrador, tenía que ponerme manos a la obra.
Elegir qué hacer de almuerzo en ocasiones me aburre y realmente no sé qué preparar, pero me toca lo habitual de los fines de semana: sopa. Hoy preparé una sopa de carne y pollo con verduras, con un caldo bien sustancioso y un aroma que inundó toda la casa.
Pero antes de empezar a cocinar tuve que salir a comprar algunas cosas, no tenía lo más esencial unas mazorcas, y verduras, siempre falta algo!! Y son las preferidas de mi tropa, también debía lavar y comprar, detergente y suavizante, que ya se me habían acabado. Pero lo más que ame de esa salida rápida fue que junto a mi esposo al salir nos comimos unos helados.
De verdad que amé este domingo porque me sentí productiva y a la vez relajada. Logré cumplir con mis responsabilidades y también darme un pequeño gusto con ese helado. Un domingo completo y satisfactorio para comenzar una linda semana.

I got up at exactly 7:30 thinking about what to prepare for breakfast. I think that every mother thinks most about what menu she will prepare to feed her troops. And so I had to make some delicious sandwiches with bread, ham, cheese, tomato and a touch of mayonnaise.Normally I go to church, but today I had to place an order for bread, which they had ordered for me. So, with the kitchen converted into a small workshop, I had to get to work.
Choosing what to make for lunch sometimes bores me and I don't really know what to prepare, but I get the usual thing on the weekends: soup. Today I prepared a meat and chicken soup with vegetables, with a very hearty broth and an aroma that filled the entire house.
But before starting to cook I had to go out and buy some things, I didn't have the most essential things, some corn on the cob, and vegetables, something is always missing!! And they are the favorites of my troop, I also had to wash and buy detergent and fabric softener, which I had already run out of. But the most thing I loved about that quick outing was that together with my husband when we left we ate some ice cream.
I really loved this Sunday because I felt productive and at the same time relaxed. I managed to fulfill my responsibilities and also treat myself a little to that ice cream. A complete and satisfying Sunday.
