FOODlog #1295: Ginger Beef Stir Fry

in voilk •  2 months ago

Cooked this for our mid-week staff meal. Stir fried beef brisket with ginger and scallions. It's seasoned with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. A super simple dish but one that I really love having had it cooked by my Mum when I was growing up.

I used a manual slicer and sliced the beef while it was still frozen so you get those nice thin cuts.

Started off with sauteeing the ginger and scallions in oil until theh get fragrant. Then the beef goes in together with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. A super simple and straightforward dish but extremely delicious and packed full of flavor.

No carbs day so I had the meal with a fried egg cooked with butter, and some stir fried ladies fingers, one of my favorite vegetables.
