Good day dear friends of the #cleanplanet community, it's nice sharing my cleaning activity with everyone today. Yesterday night was a nice one for me because the power supply which was interrupted was restored yesterday and everywhere was lighted up. For 3 days now, we've been out of power and that has greatly affected me in so many ways.
Some of my gadgets including my phone went down and I couldn't power them up for some days and some of the house chores which I do with machines like the washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner were all kept aside due to lack of electricity supply. This alone forced me to move to manual working and besides that, the hot weather made the house hot at night since the fans and ACs couldn't be powered.
So yes, the restoration of the power supply was more like a rain in the desert. This morning after powering my gadgets including my phone to 100%, I decided to go out and do my cleaning activity for the day with hope of returning to carry out my house chores quickly with those machines
The cleaning activity for today was a wide one in the sense that I picked a lot of garbage and covered longer distances.
Sometimes I feel photos should speak and give more detail about my cleaning activity , so I'm sorry for sharing a lot of images but you just looking at them alone can tell you everything I'll need to say concerning my cleaning activity today. So here are the photos to backup my clean activity:
The cleaning activity was done along my street starting from my gate down to the Migatti hotel. The Migatti hotel held a night party yesterday which kept everyone awake at night and noisy as well. So I believe that at the end of this event the area must probably be dirty so I decided to visit and my speculation was actually right because the environment was not clean. So I did the needful by clearing the environment, picking up trash on the floor there and packaging them in my picking back. My cleaning activity was finalized when I went to the disposal container and had my dirty bag disposed of.
To me I have several reasons for always engaging in my activities regularly, it's not just to share on Hive for everyone to view. It's not so, but if that was my reason surely I would have stopped it one day because of the impression and attitude of passersby whenever they see me clean my street every day. There are a lot more to my cleaning activities which include safer environment, cleaner environment, good health and better reputation for oneself and surrounding. It's often said that “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
