Conveying information is good, but we should always know how to do it.
There are times you convey information, but the medium you use in sending it out can make your targeted audience not receive it.
There are times when you need to learn how to adjust the way you speak about something so as to make sure that they get what you are telling them.
For children, you need to make them learn visually, and for some people, they are auditory learners.
One may have good and knowledgeable information but find it very difficult to give out or may not know how to convey it to his or her targeted audience.
Things to consider before conveying information are:
Culture:The culture of people plays a vital role in the way they receive information. If you go against the culture of your audience, they may not really want to listen to you.
Level of Education: If your audience has the opportunity to go far in academics, then you will have to upgrade to their standard so that they will listen to you.
Authority is the right to exercise power, and you need to have charisma to possess authority.
If you have the right, or maybe you are given the right, to approach people by someone higher than them, then it will be very easy for you to access them.
Note that if you don't convey every piece of information you need before you die, then you may not leave any legacy behind.
