As food and cooking are my main daily topics here on Hive, I want to share an easy, simple, delicious, and nutritious cabbage egg drop soup recipe paired with veggie balls with cheese.
These were the dishes I cooked for my family yesterday.
Cabbage Egg Drop Soup + Veggie Ball with Cheese
INGREDIENTS:
- Eggs Cabbage
- Potato
- Carrot
- Cheese
- Onion
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Spring Onion
- Knorr Chicken Cube
- Ground Black Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Aji Ginisa Mix
- Tabasco Hot Sauce
- Flour
- Canola Oil
- Water
PREPARATION AND COOKING PROCESS:
For the Veggie Balls:
Wash and peel the potatoes and the carrot. Then grate them. Put the grated veggies in a bigger bowl.
Wash the spring onions and cut into small pieces.
Put the sliced spring onions in a bowl of grated potatoes and carrots. Crack 1 egg and add it to the veggies. Then add flour, ground black pepper, Aji Ginisa mix, and garlic powder. Mix all the ingredients. Then set aside.
Prepare the cheese and slice it into cubes.
Brush a little canola oil on a small plate, then add some veggie mixture. Flatten the mixture, put a cheese cube in the center, and form it into a ball. Place the veggie balls on a bigger plate. Repeat the same process until you are finished.
Then let's start cooking!
Heat some canola oil in a pan. Fry the veggie balls on low to medium heat until they are all finished. Set them aside.
For the Cabbage Egg Drop Soup:
Crack and beat 5 eggs in a bowl.
Wash the cabbage and spring onions and then slice them into smaller pieces. Clean and prepare the onion and garlic and then slice them into smaller pieces.
Wash and peel the ginger, then slice.
Cooking Time!
Boil 3 to 4 cups of water in a pot. When it starts to boil, add the ginger, onions, and garlic. Then add a Knorr chicken cube and a little soy sauce. Continue to boil for a few minutes.
Then, add the spring onions and cabbage. Add the beaten eggs right away. Pour the eggs while stirring continuously. Add a pinch of salt to taste and Tabasco hot sauce. Then turn off the heat.
