Episode 1. Dr. Minho of the Future
The near future is an AI world. Things we've only seen in movies have become a reality. Households will be populated with AI robots that act as housekeepers. AI robots perform various functions such as cleaning, cooking, and acting as secretaries. There are even premium robots that can fulfill multiple roles. Demi-gods have been able to live normal lives by having AI chips implanted in their heads.
However, AI chips have been turned into a means of controlling humans by the Lucio Group, who want to use them to take over the world. A group of people have begun to band together to stop this.
a secret lab in the near future
Sitting in a wheelchair, Dr. Minho works with his colleague Dr. Richard on the human interface with AI chips. AI chips have made tremendous progress. Dr. Minho was the foremost authority on AI chips and their interfaces with humans.
"It is completed and is 20 times better than Lucio's in terms of performance, security, and stability. I made two samples." "I will be the experimenter," said Dr. Minho with excitement. Dr. Minho wanted to see it in person.
"Won't it be dangerous?" said Dr. Richard, looking worried.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine." Dr. Minho gave Dr. Richards the capsule implant gun with the AI chip inside. Dr. Richard shot Dr. Minho in the back of the head and implanted the AI chip into his head.
The AI chip in Dr. Minho's head found its place, and the AI began to work to connect with brain signals. After a while, it found a detour to connect with Dr. Minho's lower body. Dr. Minho could feel his legs, and he stood up from the wheelchair. He tested various functions.
"It worked." Dr. Minho exclaimed in a confident voice.
"Congratulations.
" Dr. Richards is thrilled and congratulates him.
"Dr. Richards, I would like to use the remaining one sample to save the future," Minho said.
"I plan to send it to me in 2024 to let me know what's happening now so I can prepare."
Dr. Richards leaves the lab and calls someone on the phone.
"Hello."
"Dr. Richards, how is your research coming along?"
"Yes, it was successful. I'm going to send the samples elsewhere, and I'll need to send a mercenary to take over the lab as soon as possible."
Dr. Richards had been sponsored by the Lucio Group and had been waiting for the results of Dr. Minho's research to report to the Lucio Group.
Dr. Minho's hearing was also improved by the AI chip in his head. This allowed him to hear Dr. Richard's internal communications with the Lucio group.
Dr. Minho pockets the gun that the AI chip created.
He left the lab and moved to Building B. Building B is where the secret time travel laboratory is located. Recently, the secret laboratory has been researching time travel with AI to the point where it can send objects to the desired time and place.

Moments later, gunfire erupts at the main entrance to the secret laboratory. Mercenaries from Lucio's group had broken in and moved to steal Dr. Minho's research. The mercenaries burst into Dr. Minho's lab. "Where is Dr. Minho?" asked Blanco, the head of the Lucio Group, when he saw Dr. Richards.
"He was just in his lab," Dr. Richards replies.
Dr. Richards remembers that Dr. Minho said he would send a sample to him in 2024.
"I think he went to the time travel lab in Building B"
Blanco, the head of the Lucio Group, radioed in. "The mercenaries have Dr. Minho in the time travel lab in Building B."
Blanco, Dr. Richards, and the mercenaries race to Building B.

Dr. Minho has stored information on the AI chip about what will happen after 2024 when it is designed. He put the AI chip's design on a USB, along with a research award and instructions on how to use the gun. He took a video to himself on his cell phone.
"Hi Minho, I'm you from the future, I was in a car accident while trying to save a child and I'm paralyzed and suffering a lot. AI is very advanced now, but the Lucio Group is using it to control humans by implanting chips in their heads. By the time you watch this video, I will have died at their hands. Please check it out and stop the Lucio Group."
I explained the evils of Lucio's group and briefly explained how to use the gun. I saved it and transferred it to a USB. I put the gun and USB in the box, put it in the time travel machine, entered the time and place of arrival, and pressed send.
"Hold on," Dr. Richards calls out as he opens the lab door and enters, followed by General Manager Blanco and the mercenaries.
"Dr. Minho, I need to speak to you for a moment." Blanco doesn't think the sample should go to another time zone. If he had to, he would kill Dr. Minho. He signaled to the mercenary captain.
Minho presses the send button on the time travel machine. The mercenary captain shoots at Min-ho. Min-ho wraps his body around the time travel machine.
The time travel machine works, and the gun and USB with the capsule containing the AI chip are sent to Min-ho in 2024.
It happened so fast that the transmission would have failed if Dr. Minho hadn't blocked it with his body.
When Blanco opens the time machine and sees nothing, he realizes that it has already been sent.

On February 3, 2024, Min-ho arrives at his home in Cheongju. He sits in his wheelchair in the living room and looks out through the window. Until last year, he was happy running around in the playground with his friends. But a car accident left him paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. After telling him that he wants to live in his grandmother's house in Cheongju for the time being, Min-ho comes downstairs.
As he was looking out the window in the living room, he saw a delivery box outside the door.
'When did the courier come?'
On the box is his name, "Minho Lee". A package has arrived from his future self to his past self.

가까운 미래는 AI 세상이 된다. 영화에서나 봐 왔던 일들이 현실화 되었다. 가정에는 가정부역할을 하는 AI로봇이 보급된다. AI로봇이 청소, 요리, 비서 역할 등 다양한 기능을 수행한다. 여러 가지 역할을 수행할 수 있는 프리미엄 로봇도 판매되고 있다. 반신 불수의 사람들도 AI 칩을 머리에 이식하여 정상적인 생활이 가능하게 되었다.
하지만 이를 이용해 세계를 장악하려는 루시오 그룹으로 인해 AI 칩은 인간을 통제하는 수단으로 전락되었다. 이를 막아야겠다고 생각하는 사람들이 뭉치기 시작했다.
가까운 미래 비밀 연구실
휠체어에 앉아있은 민호 박사는 동료인 리차드 박사와 AI 칩과 인간의 인터페이스를 연구하고 있다. AI 칩은 엄청난 발전속도를 이루었다. 민호 박사는 AI 칩, AI 칩과 인간과의 인터페이스의 최고 권위자였다.
“완성되었습니다. 루시오 그룹에서 나온 제품에 비해 20배의 성능과 보안성, 안정성을 갖춘 제품입니다. 여기 2개의 샘플을 만들었습니다.” 민호 박사는 흥분된 목소리로 말했다. “제가 직접 실험체가 되겠습니다.” 민호 박사는 직접 확인하고 싶었다.
“위험하지 않을 까요?” 리차드 박사는 걱정스러워하는 모습으로 말했다.
“걱정하지 마세요. 괜찮을 겁니다.” 민호 박사는 AI 칩이 들어가 있는 캡슐 이식 총을 리차드 박사에게 주었다. 리처드 박사는 민호 박사의 뒷 머리에 총을 쏘아서 AI칩을 머리에 이식했다.
민호 박사의 머리에 이식한 AI칩은 자기 자리를 찾아갔다. 그리고 뇌 신호와 연결을 위해 AI가 작동하기 시작했다. 잠시후 민호 박사의 하반신과 연결하는 우회로를 찾아 연결했다. 민호 박사는 다리에 감각을 느낄 수 있었다. 그리고 휠체어에서 일어섰다. 그리고 각종 기능을 테스트했다.
“성공입니다.” 민호 박사는 확신에 찬 목소리로 외쳤다.
“축하합니다. 박사님” 리차드 박사는 감격하여 축하인사를 한다.
민호는 “리차드 박사, 저는 나머지 1개의 샘플 미래을 구하기 위해 사용하고 싶습니다.”
“2024년 저에게 보내어 지금의 상황을 알리고 대비할 수 있도록 할 계획입니다.”
리차드 박사는 연구실을 나와 누군가에게 전화를 건다.
“여보세요”
“리차드 박사님 연구성과는 어떻습니까?”
“네 성공했습니다. 샘플을 다른데 보내려고 합니다. 빨리 용병을 보내서 연구소를 접수해야 할 것 같습니다.”
리차드 박사는 루시오 그룹에 후원을 받아오고 있었고 민호 박사의 연구 결과를 기다렸다 루시오 그룹에 보고 한 것이다.
민호 박사는 머릿속의 AI 칩으로 인해 청각도 좋아졌다. 그래서 리차드 박사가 루시오 그룹과 내통하는 소리를 들을 수 있었다.
민호 박사는 AI 칩이 창작된 총을 주머니 넣었다.
연구실을 나와 B 연구동으로 움직였다. B 연구동은 시간 여행 비밀연구소가 있는 곳이다. 최근 비밀 연구소에서는 시간 여행도 AI로 시간여행을 연구해서 물건을 원하는 시간, 장소로 보낼 수 가 있는 수준에 까지 왔다.

잠시후 비밀 연구소의 정문에서 총격적인 발생했다. 루시오 그룹의 용병들이 침입하여 민호 박사의 연구결과를 훔치기 위해서 움직였다. 용병들은 민호 박사의 연구실로 들이 닥쳤다. 루시오 그룹의 본부장 블랑코는 리차드 박사를 보자 “민호 박사는 어디있나요?” 묻는다.
“방금까지 연구실에 있었는데요” 리차드 박사가 대답한다.
리차드 박사는 민호 박사가 2024년 자신에게 샘플을 보내겠다는 말을 생각해 낸다.
“B 연구동에 시간여행 연구실로 간 것 같습니다”
루시오 그룹 본부장 블랑코는 무전으로 지시합니다. “용병들은 B 연구동 시간여행 연구실에 민호 박사를 생포한다”
블랑코, 리차드박사, 용병들은 B 연구동으로 달려간다.

민호 박사는 AI칩에 설계당시에 2024년 이후에 일어나는 일들에 대해 AI칩에 저장했다. USB에 AI칩의 설계서와 연구 동여상, 총 사용 방법을 실었다. 핸드폰으로 자신에게 보내는 동영상을 찍었다.
“민호야 안녕, 나는 미래의 너야, 어린이를 구하려다 교통사고를 당해 하반신 마비가 되어 많이 힘들어 하고 있겠구나. 지금시대는 AI가 엄청 발달했어. 하지만 루시오 그룹은 이를 악용해 인간의 머리에 칩을 이식하고 인간을 통제하고 있어. 이 동영상을 보고 있을 때면 나는 그들의 손에 죽었겠지. 꼭 확인해보고 루시오 그룹을 막아줘”
루시오 그룹의 악행에 대해 설명하고 간단히 총의 사용법에 대해 설명했다. 저장하고 USB로 옮겨담았다. 박스에 총과 USB를 넣고 시간여행 기계안에 넣고 도착 시간, 도착 장소를 입력후 전송 버튼을 누르려고 한다.
“잠간” 리차드 박사가 연구실 문을 열고 들어오면서 외친다. 그리고 본부장 블랑코와 용병들이 들어온다.
“민호 박사, 잠간만 얘기를 하시죠 ” 본부장 블랑코는 샘플이 다른 시간대로 가면 안된다고 생각했다. 여의치 않으면 민호 박사를 죽일 생각이었다. 용병대장에게 신호를 보낸다.
민호는 시간여행기계의 전송버튼을 누른다. 용병대장은 민호에게 총을 쏘았다. 민호는 자신의 몸으로 시간여행 기계를 감싼다.
시간여행기계가 작동하며 AI칩이 든 캡슐을 장착한 총과 USB가 과거 2024년 민호에게 전송되었다.
정말 순식간에 일어난 일이지만 민호 박사가 몸으로 막지 않았다면 전송이 실패했을 것이다.
본부장 블랑코는 시간여행기계를 열고 아무것도 없자 이미 전송되었음을 알고 낙심한다.

2024년 2월 3일 민호는 청주 시골집에 내려왔다. 거실에서 휠체어에 앉아 창문을 통해 바깥을 바라본다. 작년까지만 해도 친구들과 운동장에서 뛰어 놀며 행복했었다. 하지만 교통사고로 인해 하반신이 마비가 돼서 휠체어 신세를 지고 있다. 당분간 할머니가 계신 청주 시골집에서 생활 하고 싶다고 말하고 민호는 내려왔다.
거실에서 창밖을 보고 있는데 문 밖에 택배박스가 보인다.
‘언제 택배원이 다녀갔나?‘
택배 박스에는 자신의 이름 “이민호”가 적혀있다. 미래의 자신으로부터 과거의 자신에게로 택배가 도착했다.
