Outstanding Minimalists Blogs in no particular order.

Minimalism, Aestheticism, and the Pursuit of a Home That Reflects Me

✨"Even the minimalist movement once had a specific type of aesthetic to it. The joke was that you’re not a minimalist if you don’t have beige or black-and-white curated decor, fashion and styles. It was also branded as something only the middle to upper class could afford. The thing is, that was true. As a trend, minimalist was marketed that way; it was the aspirational content everyone wanted to see. That is ironic as it’s just another way of introducing consumerism and straying from the core of minimalism." @macchiata

    Minimalist feel in photography

✨"As we can see in the photographs that I show in this publication, where a few simple leaves in backlight can fit into the frame, as well as a bit of shadows as in some of the images or capturing a beautiful cat that maintains eye contact with the camera. In any case, minimalism is applied as part of our lives, it is a bit of feeling and some sentiment, it is also that gratification of perceiving the simple as something beautiful, comfortable in its encumbrance and satisfactory in the nature that we find ourselves in." @wilfredocav

    Hard to gift...

✨"When I think of gifting my siblings at home, it’s always a big no because they wouldn’t use them; these items are old-fashioned to them and would end up jam-packed in a corner of the house. The young boys on the streets in my neighborhood? They are even more off-track when it comes to wearing such clothing than my siblings." @kingsleyy

    Parting Ways.

✨"Sometimes, I struggle to say no some set of people in my life, and the repercussions of this are not good. This has caused me to pile unnecessary pressure on myself, but that's not all. I really don't want to ruin my relationship with this set of people, but somehow, that's what's happening. Saying yes to all their requests or demands has caused me to disappoint them several times, and it has affected our relationships somehow." @george-dee

The world has its favorites, but I love my life

✨"Our budget was a little short, however, I went to the market and noticed that a bag of 10 hot dog buns cost two dollars, so I bought it. At home we had onions and sauces, so the sausages were missing. We asked my sister to buy us three dollars worth of sausages because the market I went to was very expensive and my sister was near a grocery store where they were cheaper and she did us the favor." @abisag

    About 2025...

✨"Passion is my word for next year because I think about how deeply I need to strive for everything to be everything I need. To live a simple life, filled with gratitude, positivity, peace, courage and clarity, I only need to be passionate about these things. Passion is what would bring my minimalist values to the limelight. I’m rooting for year 2025. I’m rooting for a year filled with passion like no other. No more nonchalance. No more laissez-faire attitude towards my goals, the things and the people I care about." @jhymi

✨"I need to leave behind in 2024 is my constant need for others’ validation. The only validation I need is mine. My seeking to please others and always meet up to their expectations, took a toll on me. And I mean a huge one. In my attempt to do that, I was piling the weight of their expectations on mine and somehow, making them my own. And the few times it even earned me people's validation, I still wasn't satisfied. I came to realize, that it wasn't other people's love or acceptance that would fill the gaping abyss in me, but my own acceptance of myself, my limits, abilities and capabilities. I hope for 2025 to be a year where I find love in myself and the courage to truly be me." @terjix

Write to reduce, listen to forget

✨"There are two things that help me a lot, one of them is writing, I always liked to write what I felt, what I thought or even some experience, I prefer to do it traditionally with pencil and paper. In therapy I learned an exercise that I have already told a little about and that is to make a list of things to be grateful for, but specific things of the day, this helps me to focus my mind on positive things and as it requires effort of your brain to think and remember at the end, the stress has decreased a lot." @jemima1996

    Life in 2025

✨"I lied to myself a lot last year. There were many things I did, that looking at it now, I shouldn't have done them. But I did them, not because I didn't know it wasn't necessary or it wasn't the right thing to do. I did them because I kept on lying to myself about how I felt concerning those things. Because I kept on telling myself that those things were necessities and I couldn't do without them. This year, I want to be true to myself, accept things as they come and stop trying to make it seem fitting to other's description of the right thing." @oluchi31

    To New Beginnings…

✨"I’ve realized that holding onto pain and hurt only weighs me down, so I’m letting it all go. For me, this is like decluttering my mind. Just like clearing out garbage from your space to live well, I’m clearing out the emotional baggage that no longer serves me. It’s not about ignoring what happened or pretending it didn’t hurt. No, it’s about choosing my well-being over everything else. I mean, how can I fully embrace new opportunities or even enjoy the simple joys of life if I’m carrying around things that drain me? Hell no! Not 2025 baby😃" @ibbtammy
