The storms are upon the wasteland
With the Back Street Apparel main raider taken out as requested, by the Oberland Station settlers, and while running back to tell them the good news, it started to rain which was a relaxing and nice feeling for Arghrash while he made his way back.
It was coming down heavier by the time he reached the settlement but it was no bother to them at all.
"I kicked those raiders asses and you won't be bothered any further" announced Arghrash to the settler.
"Thank you kindly. We will sleep well tonight and get the supplies building again, all thanks to your help" the settler claimed as they finished their conversation and Arghrash went to take a nap in their bed.
Once he woke and made his way back to base he saw the rain was just as heavy, added by a nice light show from the lightning in the near distance and this was calling for a quick run to get to safety and have a proper sleep.
Back at base now and with the two water purifiers running for the time he was away, he managed to get 16 purified waters stockpiled which is a short supply, some get put into the trunk so they aren't all used up right now, the rest he is taking and having some soon.
Besides the water, some of the heavier ammo and few items were stored. It would free up some carry capacity for the next trip and managing that inventory is always important!
An eight hour sleep was something he was due for and he knew it. Arghrash yawns and says "I think when I wake I will place a third water purifier and keep massing how much I have. It is such an important resource among the dirty water all around the place."
So with a nice eight hour sleep completed, feeling refreshed and ready to get into action again, another water purifier was placed to help with the water consumption issue he faced.
Now with a third purifier to pump more water out and ready for his next return it was back out to work on another mission, or see what else is out in the wasteland. "Hopefully this storm subsides soon and makes it easier to see because this rain, plus the fog and lightning is pretty cool, but harder for fights" he said as the running continued.
Further ahead of where he was running is a battle going on between a group of ghouls from the area, plus a legendary raider and likely some raiders off to the side taking shots.
Arghrash took some shots for the experience and by the end of the battle it was only a slight bit of health left, on the legendary raider and he was defeared in a couple body shots.
"Slowly but surely, creepy up and disarm some mines on the ground. Take shots at the raider in the building for a quick kill and see what loot I can get" Arghrash mumbled to himself while ensuring it was safe to loot up.
The legendary raider had the junkie's laser musket, it was an alright weapon if you didn't have something better but you best be using it while medded up with chems and getting withdrawals from them afterwards.
Inside the house where these ghouls were attacking the raiders at, was a nifty little spot they were occupying. A first aid box had a stimpak and rad-x which wasn't too bad, but the duffle bag with some handy .308 rounds and a molotov would be good for going from long range sniping, to a molotov to burn whatever is coming his way.
"Okay so next I will be stopping off a Wattz Electronics for this quest and whatever they want after getting the log and note left there. Then I can head back to base again, I think and store any loot before moving out right away."
He was really starting to do well with how much loot is stockpiled, the valuable experience being gained and tidying up this doomed wasteland to make it better, and safer, for the good people that are left in this world.
