My home grown garden routine

Greetings!

Garden is one thing I love so much, but it comes with alot of stress. The planting, weeding,wetting are no play. So, owning a garden is like doing something extra at home and to me, all the processes I listed such as planting, weeding and wetting has in one way or the other been one of my daily house chore that I do everyday. Although, all that I have in my garden located in my compound has been planted long time ago, but the weeding and wetting comes everyday.

Before now and during the raining season, I have little or nothing to do on my garden. The only thing I used to do then was the weeding which is not everytime. Though, at some point in time, I do wet when there's no rain, but no as now when the raining season has come to an end.

Home garden is something that I love so much and the reason being that, it saves cost and meets family need. In my home garden, I have okra plant, which when I need to eat okra, I just go there to pluck the needed ones. This vegetable being planted in my home garden has really been saving me cost. But it comes with it's own work which is the tending of the plant. One thing that I have included in my daily home activities is the wetting of the plant.

Everyday, i wet the garden. I used to fetch water from the well inside my compound to wet the plant day and night and it's been given the needed result. Which in one way or the other has been helping my household. Atleast, I can feed my home with the little coming out of the plant. But mind you, it comes with it's own sacrifice.

What of the plantain? Also, in my small garden located inside my compound, there's a small plantain plantation which planted this year, this I did during the raining season, but now that we are in the dry season, I do wet it everyday, both in the morning before going to work and late in the evening after coming back from work. Now my plantain has grown with the inflorescence bringing out the fruit. Though it comes with its own sacrifice, but I'm enjoying the sight of this two things I av mentioned in my garden. Both are giving me joy.

So, wetting these plants is one of my daily activities that must be done everyday. This is because without doing it, all this plant would have withered off and there would have been nothing to show for it, considering what I have passed through while planting it. I love home garden, but it comes with it own daily activities.
