Snores and Roars: The Noisy Annoyances That Drive Me Crazy

I think sound is the most fascinating and intriguing way to communicate. That's because sounds has the power to induce emotions and memories. Some sound are so powerful, that it can make us feel happy or sad, excited or calm, and even change our moods. There's something beautiful and interesting about how music can touch my hearts and mind.

However there are alot of sounds that can turn me off, it can make me change from a lively mood to a rather dull, annoying and sometimes scarry mood. For example a sound from the thunderstorm. I run under my bed in fear once I hear that sound, I don't know why but I'm always scared whenever I hear a thunderstorm. There's this fright that causes tension within me at the sound of a thunderstorm. But to be honest the sound from a thunderstorm doesn't annoy me like a snoring sound. Oh my gosh!
Snoring is one of the most common sounds. It is caused by the vibration of soft tissues in the throat when sleeping. This sound can be so disruptive and so annoying.

I so much hate it when I hear someone snore and that's the only tactics my sister uses to chase me out of the room 😅. It is because of my sister's constant snoring while sleeping that made me turn our guest room into my own room. I seriously don't know if it's just me, but sleeping next to someone that is snoring is more like sleeping next to a pig with the grunting sound. Snoring irritates me so much that I try my best to wear my fluffy earplugs before going to bed, just to make sure that I can have my comfortable and beauty sleep.

I can vividly recall a scenario that made me use a sticky tape on my sister's mouth, just to ensure that she doesn't make a sound while asleep. That's because we had visitors who slept over and my room was the only vacant space for them. I normally used to think that only the adults snores but when I asked mom about my sister's consistent snoring while asleep she told me it could be hereditary. And I was just, wondering of all the things to inherit why did she go for snoring.

I always try my best to ensure that my sister doesn't stress too much during the day just so she won't have to snore so much. But unfortunately that doesn't help atall. There are some nights that can be very irritating especially nights that mom and dad will return from work extremely tired and exhausted. It feels like they're are out for a singing competition when it's time to sleep. Mom will snore in alto then Dad in bass and my sister will not miss to add a touch of treble to the sound and all these just makes me want to go crazy sometimes but they are family I can't help but get used to it. But that doesn't mean I do join them to snore, no way never.😂
