You know, I think most of us who've dabbled in photography as a career or even just as a side hustle have run into folks who aren't exactly camera-ready. They might look like a million bucks in person, but then, bam! When you snap that photo, something's just off. On the flip side, you've got those surprise packages, folks who seem kinda plain Jane in real life but then pop! They're stars in front of the lens.
Now, let me tell ya about this couple I had the pleasure of shooting. They were something else, I tell ya. Both of 'em were easy on the eyes, but once we got 'em in front of the camera, something magical happened. It's like they leveled up, which, let me tell ya, ain't easy!
He, bless his heart, was way more timid than his lady. You'd catch him off guard, and he'd look all serious, maybe even a bit scared. But as soon as that shutter clicked, it was like a switch flipped! We'd all huddle around the screen, jaws on the floor, 'cause it was like a grin just appeared outta nowhere.
And her? Rockin' that outfit, we couldn't help but jokingly dub 'em the Mafia Bosses, ha! 😂
I have to admit, I could've snapped pics of 'em all day long. Me and the gals at the studio were in a frenzy, couldn't get enough! We only called it quits 'cause, well, the sun was settin'. it was only the fact that it was gettin' late that stopped us, and well... I reckon they might've told us "enough!" at some point.😆
Creo que a la mayoría que se dedica o se ha dedicado en algún momento a hacer de la fotografía su medio de vida, nos ha tocado trabajar con personas que no son fotogénicas. Pueden ser increíblemente atractivas cuando las ves en persona, pero luego, en la foto, algo parece no encajar del todo. Lo contrario también puede suceder, donde alguien con un rostro común puede brillar en las fotos.
Esta pareja a la cual me tocó hacerles fotos, fueron muy especiales. Ambos son bellos físicamente, pero una vez en el set, aquello cambió, pero para mejor, cosa que ya era difícil de por sí.
Él, mucho más tímido que ella, tenía algo en la mirada, que cuando lo mirábamos fuera de cámara, se veía serio, asustado, pero al hacer click ocurría una especie de milagro jajajaj. Todos nos deteníamos a ver las imágenes una vez hechas porque no podíamos creerlo. Aparecía una intención de sonrisa donde inicialmente no se observaba nada de eso.
Ella era un despliegue de histrionismo tremendo. Y con este outfit, les empezamos a llamar los Jefes de la Mafia jajajaja. Tengo que admitir que habría estado feliz de pasar todo el día fotografiándolos. Las chicas del estudio y yo no podíamos parar. Solo el hecho de que ya se hacía tarde nos detuvo y bueno... ellos creo que nos hubieran dicho ¡basta! en algún punto.
