Considerations on a deal breaker.

The relationship is not something that is 100% perfect as we humans are not perfect in the sight of the Lord. Going into a relationship,

We should not expect our partners to behave like us as we have different backgrounds, cultures, traditions, values, beliefs, upbringings, attitudes, and characters among many others

I always tell people, that a relationship or marriage is like a sealed parcel you bought and you didn't know the content until you started opening it one after the other. There are things you can deal with and there are things you cannot deal with in a relationship.
Don't judge a book by its cover

So the question asked in @minimalist this weekend brought back so many encounters I had in the past. See me laughing while thinking about the past.

Is being in a relationship with someone who is disorganized or a maximalist a deal breaker for you?
What are my considerations on this matter....

I am a very organized person as in I like to put my things orderly or plan ahead of time but my husband is the opposite when we came together and realized the type of person he is, even though, it's a deal for me but because of other qualities in him, I decided to make him walk in my line and things got better not 100% but at least I can deal with that. No one is perfect!

    My considerations

If you are a man of your word, responsible, hardworking, zealous, respectful, generous to a fault, quiet, and religious among many other good attributes. I will not throw such a guy away over being disorganized or being a maximalist 👍 **TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT WORK
    **

During my days in school, 200 level to be precise, there was this rich guy who was pressurizing me to marry him🤔 As a young lady who was looking for means of survival, I decided to study him and I discovered a lot of things which I cannot deal with. For example, controlling my life because he is rich, if he calls and I don't pick up on time, I will answer so many horrible questions at the same time. His wish must come to pass without considering you as a person.
Even though I have not said yes to him and I have been facing this in his hands, I decided to tell him not to call me again and that ends it.
This is a deal breaker for me👌

Even though, I wanted to have a change of heart after calling it quits. But if I didn't end whatever sprouting as an affection that way and we eventually ended up together, it might lead to a lifetime of regret because I saw the danger signs. The decision brought me to meet the right person.

    Two cannot walk together except
     they agree(Amos 3vs3)

However, as a person I have my priorities in relationships, I can be with someone who is disorganized or a maximalist as they may have values and other qualities in them that will outweigh any deal breaker. My partner is disorganized( meaning, he can scatter things for all I know) but not a maximalist. He is someone with unique characteristics. I can still deal with and we have been rocking it together for more than 9years now👏

Additionally, going into a relationship is something one needs to carefully think about for peace to reign because being with a disorganized or maximalist partner can be a major source of stress and frustration for some people. It can lead to conflicts over any small issue which can drain the relationship. But when you have a partner who is more organized or a minimalist, this might also call for peace and harmony in the relationship.

As someone who is not 100%perfect, I never thought I could have someone who shares my dream until I met my husband some years back🤣 He is a maximalist with a purpose. We shared the same vision and we have common goals. We love and respect each other dearly and this covers the deal breaker in our relationship.

Conclusively, there are a lot of things I will put into consideration before discarding whatever we share and those things are the rare qualities I found in him. Communication is a vital key in any relationship, so it is important to have open and honest conversations about each other's habits and secure solutions to make the relationship work. ***Relationship is hard to secure because two imperfect beings are coming together as one.

Happy is the end of a thing than the beginning.

Don't throw a good man/woman away because he/she is organized or a maximalist
