Good day, amazing people of the hive block chain. Welcome back to my blog. This is another week full of engagement in the #hivelearners community.
I see every day of my life as a blessing because it is not easy to sleep and wake up on March 11, 2024, which is Monday. Monday happens to be one of my worst days. Hearing my alarm ring on Monday morning gets me angry, but there is nothing I can do. I need to work now.
My day started at 5:30. I wake up, say a little prayer, do some exercise for me to keep fit, and do some little home chores before getting ready for work.
At about 7 a.m., I am at the bus stop waiting for our company car to come pick me up.
By 8 a.m. at work yesterday, there was much work on my table. I travelled for official duty yesterday morning and saw the files on my table. I was really angry, but there is nothing I can do; I have to sit down and start working.
By 1:30pm, I went for my lunch. It seems like yesterday was my lucky day. For the first time since I started working, my boss paid for my lunch. I was so amazed because he didn’t only pay for my lunch; he also talked to me. He had not talked to me before. I was so surprised to see him pay for my lunch and also drop me off at the office after work.
By 4:30 pm, I have to leave the office because I am so stressed out. I needed some rest because the work load was so heavy on me. As I stepped out of the office, a car near me hit me. I was very surprised that the car owner stopped. To my greatest surprise, it happened to be my crush years back in secondary school. I was very surprised and happy to see him.
He apologised for hitting me earlier. He asked for us to hang out and catch up at this point. I was not stressed again because it had really been a while since I saw this guy.
We went to the eatery, where we talked about ourselves and how we have been taking life seriously. Yesterday was my best day since 2024. Yesterday, we brought me back to my day-one crush and exchanged numbers. At about 7:00 p.m., he dropped me off at my residence. I was so happy due to the joy in my heart. All I did was sing, although my siblings were surprised at my new behaviour yesterday.
At about 8:30 p.m., I went to bed because I needed to wake up at midnight and do work.
I am so grateful for yesterday. If only I could give yesterday a kiss, I would gladly do that.
One remarkable thing about yesterday was that it connected me back to my crush. Yes, it has been my best since this year started.
