6 months ago, Philip was diagnosed with Glaucoma because he always like to read in the dark for the sake of "saving electricity" and forgetting that our daughter has repeatedly reminded him that we have changed our bulbs to LED energy saving ones.

Lack of care has resulted his condition worsen and he is now in need to take medication. Today we realised that we ran out of medication before the next batch is available in early march, provided by the hospital. Our daughter could drive all the way there to requiest a new one but we were told earier to try to get one from the outside because the hospital supply may not have enough at times.

This is the first time we ran out of this eye drop as it was exactly for the number of drops per month. We dropped a little too much / had to try again when Philip's eyes blinked, and to our horror it cost almost RM80, according to our daughter that is almost the same as 20 HBD. That is expensive for us if this is long term.

Therefore, treat your eyes well, be gentle to them, for they are the windows to our soul, it is a privilege to see the colourful world with what God has given us, our vision, before it is deprived from us due to our neglegence.

Both Philip and I went through so much, and we cherish even with blurry vision that requires glasses to support us.

We are closing in to the end of our journey. We wish you who are reading this and healthy, take care of your windows to your soul.

    To good health always.
    Rene
