80's And The Synthwave Remixes - Three Tune Tuesday

I'm not a fan of remixes, because when you hear the original, the way the artist intended it to be, it just sounds right. Very rarely do I think a remix can be better than the original. Most are really bad, but occasionally there are gems. Here are three I think are well done.

First up is this remix of YES. It's actually a song someone threw the YES vocals over and I love it.

YES - Owner Of A Lonely Heart (Remix mashup)

Up next a reworking of a MAJOR 80's hit, Love Is A Battlefield. These guys did a really good job of incorporating the low bass line with a poppy synth stab to Pat Benatar's amazing voice.

Last up, an updated classic by one of the only bands that could do it.

Send Me An Angel - Gunship (Remix)

My wildcard goes hard back to the 80's hit TV show Miami Vice with Crockett's Theme. I have to admit, I like this version better than the original! Deep, synthy and powerful!

    Thanks for listening!

Thanks to @boxcarblue for introducing me to #TTT and @ablaze for dreaming it up.
