Capturing every moment ...

Doesn't it happen to them that, being in a place they love, they take too many photos, and then they can't choose?

It's hard for me to sum up, both in words and on postcards, how amazing this place is. The sensations it provokes, the natural forms it evokes... every corner is full of little miracles. The miracles of Gaudí.

I will be commenting on the tour in this post and trying to show you a little bit of this architectural fantasy "La Casa Batlló" that is in Barcelona, Spain.

Barcelona is a city with a special place in my heart: It is full of beautiful places and sweet memories. Visiting Gaudí's work with my family (paternal uncles) who live in Spain and letting my imagination run wild was an indescribable experience for my artist soul.

That weekend I visited my aunt and uncle. Taking the opportunity, Grandma Carmen, who was alive at that time, and I went out for a few minutes to sunbathe a little. While we were doing it, we thought about how much we needed that feeling of warmth on our skin, and we said, let go to visit Casa Batlló.

But I liked the walk, of course, a lot of colorful flowers and everything was so beautiful. I contemplated the beautiful light of the sunset that was making the reflections of the park around Casa Batllò iridescent, in my memories and some photos I have of that walk, I remember a pond of water lilies that I will show you.

By the way, The Casa Batlló, looks like a Fairy Tale house, it's like another world. Gaudí is the genius who built it, I like to perceive and feel that trance of the artist. And that feeling of totality and unity of the colors, the architecture, its design and its lines in every nook and cranny of this famous jewel of art.

The facade is dreamy, it is one of the most famous in Barcelona, Spain. A practically obligatory stop in the city. The funny thing is that, when it was built, it suffered a lot of rejection. What twists and turns the story takes!

The famous Casa Batlló is a sea of colors. Since I can't physically travel to Barcelona, Spain for now, I'm still flying with memory and imagination! They say that to remember is to live the experience again.

The beauty of this work of art moves me even after so many years of having visited it with my grandmother who is no longer in this world, I try to capture it as much as I can with my current mobile (very old photos, they are made of photographic paper) to show it to you, and that you can also enjoy it as I do, although there is no parallel with reality.

Starting today I'm going to dedicate myself to picking up the ” Traveling Stories" every TBT Thursday, and I'll share them in this community of weekend experiences Let's enjoy this ride together!, it's a sun bath for my soul.

Really, writing about this trip next to my grandmother Carmen, I reflect on so many wonderful things that we take for granted day by day, and how many times do we stop to think about how lucky we are just to see the sun rise every morning?

Maybe I'm not living the ideal conditions for me at the moment, at least looking at my traveling photos, and now being a big and mature woman I can observe the small wonders that surround me. This makes me feel really lucky for what I have lived and for what I have day by day.

As my mom says, "A miracle is a change of perception. To be happy is to see something beautiful in everything” As I always say, I want to keep getting to know the world.

And speaking of imagination, creativity in this cover photo what do you imagine? A tree branch! A curl of golden hair? A seahorse? Or the head of a bird with a spiral beak or spiral tongue like the tongue of the anteater that is spiral and thus catches the insects it eats or simply opens its mouth, as this doorknob does in the main door to let us in on Gaudi's magic.

Wherever the sun takes me, I go...

    Janitze.
