    The Game

Holozing is a game where you need to catch and train monsters. Although the game isn't live yet, I think the game is going to be comparable with Pokemon Go.
There are quite a lot of previews of how the game is going to look like and they are very promising.

    The Challenge by @wiseagent

To be able to play the game you need a couple of things. One of them is a starting creature. These starting creatures can be received from a so-called vial. These vials can be opened when the game starts and give you a starter creature among some other stuff.
These starter vials are 20 HBD or the Hive equivalent of it.
A while ago @wiseagent started a contest where he announced that we could win a vial. The creator of the game, @acidyo offered to donate a 2nd vial for the contest.

The game existed of a couple of rounds. We had to make a slogan, and some AI images. The following image was a round where we had to make a poster for the game. My poster contained an image I created earlier and my slogan.

I didn't make it to the final, but I received a wildcard for the final. The final exists of two parts. Part one is to create an AI image of a healer and this was my entry:

For the second and final part of the final we need to make a blog explaining why we explain why we would be a great or a terrible player.
    So this is my entry...

Why I would be a terrible player

First of all I must say that I don't think I would either be a terrible nor a great player in this game. I will probably be something in between. Time will tell!
But I have played quite some games in the past and I know my pitfalls.
And the biggest pitfall of all must be my aggressiveness.
Although I'm totally not an aggressive person in real life, I tend to play very aggressive in the games I play. This happens in pretty much every game I play. I've played many 3D shooters in the past like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Halflife and Call of Duty. In all of these games I rush forward like a kamikaze pilot to attack the opponents making my defense very vulnerable.
But it's not only in 3D shooters where I do this. Also in the football game Fifa, which I have played a lot I choose an attacking formation and rush forward lacking my defense. This tactic makes you score many points, but you also get many hits or conceded goals.
When I plot this tactic on (probably) a similar game like Pokemon Go, I also 'forget' my defensive measures quickly. When I'm in a battle I hardly dodge to avoid the opponent's attacks. This does more damage to the opponent, but also makes you get more hits.
It doesn't make me a terrible player, but I do think it would make me a better player if I would pay more attention to my defense every now and then.

Why I would be a great player

Again, I probably won't be a great player either. I just don't have that much time to invest in a game to be 'great' at it.
I do think I would be a good player. At least, I have the skills to become one.
Firstly I'm a social player. I've read that trading with other players is going to be a very important aspect in this game. I certainly don't always have to get the most out of a deal. If I can do a trade and we both are happy it's fine. This way more players can grow in a game.
With this contest from @wiseagent I've already found a couple of future players that can really help each other in the game when it will launch.
    (For instance: @coyotelation, @michupa, @shiftrox, @tfranzini, @vempromundo, @logen9f, @cryptoreforma, @vaynard86, @dadspardan).
I think we can really benefit all when we help eachother grow in this game.

A second reason why I could be a good player is that when I find something interesting, I read a lot about it to understand the basics. By reading blogs of other players I can adjust my tactics. What works best for others could also work for me. It's a kind of trial and error. You do have to invest some time, but it usually pays off.

And finally, one of my personal pitfalls is that I get addicted to games quite easily. When I like a game I often play it a lot. The fact that you can level up, make your monsters stronger and complete a collection (this last one is the worst, but doesn't everyone have this) is very addicting to me.
But then, when you enjoy the game and it doesn't get in the way of the other things you need to do, it's not such a big problem.
We'll see if Holozing has this addictive effect too.

    Thanks @wiseagent!

Finally I want to say thank you to @wiseagent for running this contest. It has been a really fun ride and he has put a lot of effort in it.
I really enjoyed joining this competition and regardless if I win the vial or not it has been a pleasure to join.
