A lot of students knew me back in high school days, yet the reason wasn't something to be proud..

    Flashback to the early 2000's.

They say high school is the best pace of student life. Was it?

How was life during this year as I was in my teenage years? I could say it was not that boring, thus not that exciting. I was in the star section, so I needed to be Miss Goodie Two Shoes when it came to academics. Never in my entire four years did I skip classes or go to school without my assignments or projects.

Were you popular in high school or not? Explain either way.

    Was I?

I am studying in a public school, and there are a lot of students. Every year level a maximum of fifty and with eight sections. Back then, everyone knew those who were dancers, quiz bee winners, and good-looking students.** Either in that category, I wasn't included 😆🤣.

In fact, I have only a few friends because I don't like to hang out with others who don't belong in my circle of friends.

Got this photo on my Facebook account.

There was no cellphone with a nice camera back then, and look how skinny I looked. How I wish I were still, even now.

Back to the topic, I remembered that a whole section knew me because of one incident.

I had a boyfriend when I was fourteen or fifteen. Yeah, I was that young. Not really that I liked him, but I wanted to be inwith the group. All my friends had!

However, my mother discovered about it, and she was like, Leslie, would you like to continue your studies or want to have a husband?

Goodness! Of course, I wanted to pursue my studies, so I broke up with my BF. Not really in a proper way. I am not proud of it.

    Then, that it all started.

A certain girl in her section would always give me a tiger look whenever I passed by. I could feel how much she hated me with her stare. For weeks, I let it pass. Why?

For someone who belongs to section 1, it wasn't could good image to be involved in. Also, the girl was living in a place known for close ties. Enemy of one is enemy of them all.

One day, I could no longer hold it back. Their next class schedule was our advisory. It was vacant, so I took the opportunity. I went inside straight to her, and I, hands on my waist, asked.

Hey, what's your problem with me? Why are you always giving me that stare? Common, speak up now! (My friends are trying to pull me away).

Perhaps she didn't expect me to be that brave. I can even see how her face turned pale.

With a stuttering voice, she said she was mad at me because of her ex-boyfriend.

You know, that common thing in high school. It turns out he liked the guy and hated me for how I treated him.

Me, being narrow-minded back then, didn't even ask for an apology and acted arrogantly.

None of her friends goes against me for unknown reasons. Honestly, that scares me. I don't know why. Perhaps the girl was good enough to choose peace.

Since then, I have been known by more students, but the reasons were not something to be happy about! Though I admit, I had that sharp tongue back then 😫.

Thankful high school life ended, and I wasn't involved in any fight, at least physically 🤣.
