    Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well. I just loved that everyone was supporting my first post. Thank you so much, everyone.

This is a picture of mine, where I'm wearing my traditional dress called "sharee." I love to wear sarees. This sharee is very important for me because it represents our culture. I clicked those photos in last winter. I went to my aunt's home. It is located in Manikganj (a district of Bangladesh).

I'm wearing "Jamdani sharee," which is famous in Bangladesh for its unique design pattern. Jamdani sharee originated in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Jamdani is a handloom-woven fabric. Jamdani fabric is usually made of cotton; this fabric is also known as muslin. Although nowadays, Jamdani patterns are woven in various types of fabric, it is famous for its unique geometric motifs and fine muslin fabric. Jamdani sharee is expensive because its making process is labour-intensive. Moreover, the fabric (muslin) used for Jamdani sharee is also expensive. Also, those sharees are made by skilled artists. Not everyone can do this. Weavers use golden, silver, and different colours of thread to weave those designs. UNESCO declared Jamdani the heritage of Bangladesh in 2013.

The flower you can see in my hand is mustard flower. I love those flower for It's vibrant yellow colour and beautiful smell.Everytime I go to Manikganj in winter I always click some picture in mustard flower field. And I wait whole year for winter. So that, I can go there and smell some mustard flower.Mustard flowers are tiny. They have four little yellow petal with four to six yellow pistill. Farmers grow mustard plant for so many reason, first of all, mustard flower's smell attract bees. And they collect honey from flowers. Those bees make hive beside fields after collecting honey. Moreover,we eat, mustard leaves as vegetable. And mustard plants gives mustard seed which is used as spice in Bangladesh. Mustard seed is known as "shorisha dana" in Bangladesh. It has a strong flavour. There is a famous recipe in Bangladesh. We cook mustard seed paste with Hilsha fish (Bangladesh is also famous for Hilsha). And we call it shorisha ilish."
I'm actually missing those days. Hopefully I'm gonna enjoy a day like
    this soon.
