I currently live in the village due to my job. I live in my own village and every afternoon I go out for a walk on our village road and our village road flows through our village for several kilometers and there are only crop fields as there are no houses along the road for several kilometers. These croplands are currently under water and some are waterlogged. Some of this land is being cultivated with tractors. Generally when these lands are flooded by monsoon water, these soils are hard where it is very difficult to plant rice. Moreover, the soil is cultivated again with tractors to make it fertile.
However, this afternoon when I was walking along the road of our village, there was a field being plowed by a tractor on the side of the road. Although the land is still under water, the view was quite beautiful. And after some distance I saw the sight of rice seedlings being planted in the same land where a farmer had planted paddy trees. But the interesting thing is that he alone was planting rice seedlings in the land. There was little water in the land. Paddy is the main food grain in our country. Rice is our staple food, so a large amount of rice is grown in the lowland areas of our country. And this is the perfect time for us to grow paddy here though we start planting from now till January or first week of February the paddy plants are planted and they start ripening in April.
I love walking on this road because we don't have any traffic on this road. Moreover, there are less locals here. The street is always deserted but some people come out for a walk in the afternoon. However, this road is pleasant to walk in summer afternoons as there is always a gentle breeze blowing on the road. But the most beautiful views from here are the sunset view as well as the bird flight view. And along with that various flowers and fruits and animals and birds can be seen here which are quite nice to see. To be honest, I like walking in such an environment and I always enjoy it and that's why I go for a walk along this road of ours almost in the afternoon.
