Praying mantis

    Hello dear friends good afternoon.....

Have you ever seen this beautiful grasshopper? If not, let's get to know it. Well, that is a praying mantis, one of the unique grasshoppers among the many grasshoppers. Try to pay attention, both front legs are bent like someone who is praying. Or maybe this grasshopper is also praying, asking for delicious food to come quickly.

I found this grasshopper on one of the green leaves in the garden. When I first saw it I thought it was an ant, at first glance it was very similar, its size was also small. After I observed it for a while, I found out that it was a praying mantis. This grasshopper is very easy to recognize, its front legs are always raised, resembling a person praying.

Apart from being unique, this grasshopper is also a grasshopper that has a good growth posture, slender and long. Her thin and long legs also managed to make her appearance even more stunning. This grasshopper has three pairs of legs. A pair of antennas that are always in motion. The antenna movement is also quite interesting, going up and down quickly. And a pair of eyes that are no less attractive.

Apart from that, this grasshopper also has a flexible neck, so it is very easy for him to see his surroundings without having to move his body first like other grasshoppers in general. Truly a grasshopper with a complete package. In Latin, this grasshopper is known as odontomantis planiceps, which is a grasshopper from the Hymenopodidae family.
