The past few months have been pretty adventurous for me as I have been opportune to visit so many interesting places in the US and I couldn’t help but share these amazing places with you all.
I have always wanted to visit America so when the the opportunity presented itself I was glad.
One of the first places I visited the moment I came to America was the white house which is located in Washington DC.
Even though we weren’t permitted to enter the White House we were allowed to take pictures with some beautiful statues.
Attending Fil festival in Virginia was an absolute delight as I and my husband had a swell time.
For the festival vendors were allowed to showcase their cultural cuisines and it so nice to see the beauty in diversity.
I had a taste of some of the snacks and food that was sold at the festival and I enjoyed so many of them.
One of the snacks I had there reminded me of one particular snacks back home which we call "Eggroll"
there were other displayes that caught my attention too and I was happy to try as many as I could.
I was also privileged to attend an Indian festival and boy it was fun!! Taking in everything it felt like I was in one of those Indian movies I watch on TV and I enjoyed every bit of the festival.
At the Indian festival I was privileged to witness Indians showcase their culture and various attires.

I wanted one of the Indian ladies to draw henna on me but I couldn’t as a lot of people were waiting in for their turn.
I also attended the Mac & Cheese Festival, hehehehe over here it’s been one festival to another and all of them were a major hit.
For the Mac & cheese festival, merchants sold all kinds of Mac and Cheese and a lot of them looked yummy but I can say for a fact that Mac & cheese isn’t really my thing
The buildings here are so beautiful and neat. One evening I decided to take a walk on the street of Virginia, and the view was amazing.
I remember the first day I had to take a bus. It was quite an interesting adventure. Even though I missed my bus going back home hahahahaha.
I and my husband visited the beach, and so many amazing places, and all the places lived up to our expectations.
What’s a beautiful country without good restaurants?
I and my husband have visited different restaurants and they were all amazing.
Good food check, aesthetics check, hygiene double check😃
United States is indeed beautiful beautiful and having different places to explore makes it more fun.
All images are mine and were taken with my mobile phone.
