Review of Cards with Weapons Training Ability | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Monsters with the Weapons Training Ability allow adjacent Monsters without attack to gain up to a maximum of 3 attack power from their own attack power. Weapons Training Ability is a really powerful and special ability. In particular, some cards that can be very useful to the team or cost low mana do not have attack power, and giving them attack power in battles will make your team very effective in battles. Especially if you have just started the Splinterlands or are in the learning phase, I strongly recommend that you include cards with the Weapons Training Ability in your deck because it is a very easy-to-use ability that can help you win many battles during the learning phase. In my opinion, when you include the Weapons Training Ability in your lineup with a good strategy, you can win many battles, especially in the Bronze and Silver Leagues.

    • Weapons Training Ability : Adjacent units with no attack gain this unit's attack, up to a maximum of 3.

here are 11 cards with the Weapons Training Ability in the Splinterlands. And all of them have the Weapons Training Ability at level 1. 4 of them belong to the Rebellion edition, 1 to the Promo edition and 6 to the Soulbound edition. You can buy or rent 5 of them from the market, but you can only get the ones belonging to the Soulbound edition from reward chests for now. I have all the cards from the Soulbound edition in my deck, so if you play Splinterlands regularly, I can say that you can add these cards to your deck as soon as possible. Frankly, I love all Monsters with the Weapons Training Ability, but when I consider its other abilities, I can say that my favorite is Daarg Deadblast.

Some Usage Examples of Weapons Training Ability

I would say the above is my most preferred combinations, especially against Magic Attack Monsters. They really work in many battles and allow me to win battles. Especially when I use the Magic Reflect Ability, I also include the Amplify Ability in my lineup, so my strategy can be much more effective against magic attack monsters.

    • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.
    • Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.

The cards that do not have attack power in the combinations I gave examples above are cards that can already be very effective in battles with their abilities and can be very useful to their teams, and gaining attack power will make them much more effective in battles. That's why I love the Weapons Training Ability.

Question; So what happens if you add 2 Monsters with the Weapons Training Ability to your lineup?

    • Reply; As seen above, this will be very brutal indeed for your opponents.

I can show many examples like this, and I will also leave links to some of my battles below, so you can see their performance in battles. I can say that the Weapons Training Ability will help you a lot in winning battles when used with a really good strategy. By the way, cards alone are not enough to win battles; no matter how powerful the opposing team is, it is not difficult to defeat them with your strategy. In order to determine a good strategy, I recommend you review your opponent's recent 5 battles and consider the rulesets of the battle. If you are new to the Splinterlands, do not worry, you will learn to determine very powerful strategies over time as you play. Although Splinterlands seems difficult to play, I can say that it is not difficult to play at all. When I started Splinterlands, I did not know anything about the gameplay and I can say that I learned it in about a month.

Links to some of my battles where I used the Weapons Training Ability: Battle Link 1 - Battle Link 2 - Battle Link 3 - Battle Link 4 - Battle Link 5 - Battle Link 6 - Battle Link 7 - Battle Link 8 - Battle Link 9 - Battle Link 10 - Battle Link 11

The above battles are battles I have fought recently and I can clearly say that I used the Weapons Training Ability a lot in the battles. Also, if you watched the above battles, you will have seen that my opponents often prefer the Weapons Training Ability. As I said above, when you determine your strategy according to your opponent, your probability of winning the battles will be higher, , so I attach great importance to strategy in battles.

What do you think about the Weapons Training Ability?

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I would be happy to answer your questions.
