dumb and typical: Basically everything on Yahoo News about Trump or Biden right now

I go and have a peek at Yahoo News every now and then just to see how partisan and stupid it remains or if somehow Yahoo, a company that has failed at nearly every possible turn since the mid 90's, continues down this path of partisanship while throwing a "Fox" bone in there every now and then. The entire news aggregate would only appeal to people who are on the left and want to be re-assured that their brainwashing is correct.

If you don't read Yahoo News, congratulations! You have likely prevented yourself from becoming completely misinformed about basically anything they decide to talk about. Mostly they feature hit-pieces against conservatives and wonderful stories of nothing but praise for anything liberal.

This one is a fine example:

While Yahoo themselves didn't write the piece, HuffPo has about as much credibility as Yahoo does as far as their work is concerned. They told a story about how Trump mixed up a word in an interview where he said "supply change" instead of "supply chains" and then featured dozens of Tweets from a bunch of unknowns as some sort of proof that Trump isn't mentally sound. These are the same people that never report about the word salad that comes out of Biden (their guy!) any time he talks. The fact that Trump stumbled on a word during an impromptu interview is a gaffe for sure, but when their guy Biden somehow turns teleprompter words into nonsense they remain totally quiet about it.

Let's not forget that in a non teleprompter speech, Biden went off script briefly to talk about how he had recently met with named François Mitterrand who is the ex-President of France. That must have been one hell of a meeting seeing as how Mitterrand has been dead for nearly 30 years. I wonder how much coverage Yahoo news gives to this gaffe? In my mind it is one thing to stumble over a word and choose the wrong one using "change" instead of "chains" but to talk about having a recent meeting with someone that has been deceased for nearly 3 decades? That's a different level of absent-mindedness. He also initially referred to Mitterrand as someone from Germany, but then later corrected it to France.

One funny thing that took place in the Yahoo News aggregate today was there was an article praising Biden's recent speech in Nevada where Joe was telling us about a "nightmare situation" that would occur if Trump is elected again. The comments section is pure gold though because the things people were saying were not exactly the reaction I think the Associated Press article's authors were hoping for. In the past Yahoo disabled comments because of things like this but now they are back and they are overwhelmingly mocking AP's disingenuous reporting of what took place at this speech.

I am not on the side of either Biden or Trump so don't come at me with some accusations of being right-wing MAGA blah blah blah. I dislike both of them and I hate the two party system. There is one thing that I dislike even more though, and that is the complete dishonesty of the media. They should be completely ignored by everyone because whether you are right or left, the news outlet that tells you what you want to hear is lying to you about what you like, and not telling you about the stuff that they probably should.

Thankfully, I don't think that many people actually pay any attention to MSM anymore and this is a very good thing.
