Music is one of the most beautiful gifts given to us as humans. No matter who you are or where you're from, good music has a way of getting to us all. Sometimes, you don’t even need to know the lyrics—once the rhythm hits, it’s like your body just naturally responds. You start moving, nodding, or tapping your feet without even knowing.
That’s why people say music is a universal language. It doesn’t care about your background or what language you speak; it connects everyone. For me, I love music a lot. I listen to almost all genres of music —Afrobeat, jazz, even some classical tunes—anything really, as long as it has good moral values and doesn’t promote anything degrading.
Music is just always there. Whether I’m working, resting, or just walking around, I find myself listening to something. But it’s not just about the sound; music affects how we feel. this is something i have come to realize, a slow and emotional song can calm me down when i am feeling stressed, and a fast and energetic one can make me feel alive and ready to take on the world.
It’s funny how powerful music can be without us even realizing it sometimes. It’s more than just entertainment; it heals, inspires, and brings people together. When i am sad, playing songs from my Westlife or any don williams playlist can feel like a hug. When i am happy , i also have a playlist on spotify that makes the moment even better.
Honestly, music is something we should never take for granted. It’s a gift that reminds us how connected we are as humans.
