@dannewton just finished a 5.7km run, that lasted for 36 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 478.0 calories.

Description from Strava: That first image is a little misleading. We did get some snow overnight, but not that much. Certainly nowhere near as much as other places in the UK actually received. I took that photo around 8am, and there was just over an inch of snow. We did get a brief flurry just after this, and then it stopped completely

By lunchtime it had started melting. The roads were already clear by this point, and by the time I had finished work at 4pm I captured the picture below... pretty much all of the snow had gone.

very disappointing lol, I love running in the snow. The forecast for the rest of the week appears to be very cold, but mostly dry, so there is very little chance of snow to look forward.

    Nevermind

Lack of snow aside, the run itself was nice and easy. And I need to take it easy as I definitely feel lacking in my current fitness. That is all down to the 3 weeks I stopped running over the xmas period, but starting to get back into some semblance of a routine. It was also quite nice to complete the run mostly in daylight. I know its only been 2 weeks since the shortest day for the Winter Solstice, but I can already sense it getting lighter in the evenings.

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
