Just before dusk, the Pond Heron was perched on a bush above the water to hunt for fish. A patient bird. It is accustomed to waiting for a long time by the water's edge. I was returning home that day with my camera in hand. Suddenly, it caught my eye. The Pond Heron had a water background behind it, from which the soft light of the sun was still reflecting. I felt attracted and took some photos. After that, it was there and I returned home. The Pond Heron usually stays in trees at night. There are forest-like trees on one side of the reservoir, so it probably spends the night there.
