Hace algún tiempo, empecé esta tradición argentina, pero realmente duré muy poco haciéndola, sobre todo porque se me van pasando las fechas y entre la premura por cumplir con todo y con todos, cuando tocaba hacer el ritual, algo terminaba pasando que no cumplía con ello.
Inclusive llegué a compartir un post en mi blog, sobre como se preparan y la historia que está detrás de esta creencia argentina con respecto a la necesidad de comerlos en esta fecha en particular. Pero luego de ello, todo se fue diluyendo, y aunque durante ese tiempo me deshice de algunos hábitos y adopté otros, este no terminaba de calar en mi consciente.
Y aunque sea cuestión de costumbre o de una fe hacia lograr alguna meta en particular, considero que más allá del significado que los demás le den, para mi es necesario por el simple hecho de volver a creer que los milagros existen si trabajas en pro de que aparezcan, y no solo sentándose a esperarlos.
Hoy volví a empezar esta tradición, pero esta vez sin ánimos de dejarla de lado, pues va más allá del significado que le dan los argentinos, en mi caso, será como recordatorio de que cada noqui que coma, representará estar un paso más cerca de concretar aquello que esté anhelando se cumpla en mi vida.
Para los argentinos, la tradición de los ñoquis del 29 está asociada al dinero, pero yo prefiero relacionarla con la abundancia, que es un concepto más amplio y poderoso.
Así que hoy he comido los primeros ñoquis de la abundancia! Y ustedes, siguen esta tradición o es algo que ya se ha ido perdiendo también?
Some time ago, I started this Argentine tradition, but I really didn't last long doing it, mostly because I keep missing the dates and in the rush to fulfill everything and everyone, when it was time to do the ritual, something would end up happening that didn't comply with it.
I even shared a post on my blog, about how they are prepared and the story behind this Argentine belief regarding the need to eat them on this particular date. But after that, everything started to fade away, and although during that time I got rid of some habits and adopted others, this one didn't quite sink into my consciousness.
And even if it's a matter of habit or faith in achieving a particular goal, I believe that beyond the meaning others may give it, for me it is necessary simply to believe again that miracles exist if you work towards making them happen, and not just by sitting around waiting for them.
Today I started this tradition again, but this time with no intention of leaving it aside, as it goes beyond the meaning that Argentinians give it; in my case, it will be a reminder that every gnocchi I eat will represent being one step closer to achieving what I am longing for in my life.
For Argentinians, the tradition of "ñoquis del 29" is associated with money, but I prefer to relate it to abundance, which is a broader and more powerful concept.
