Children should/shouldn't expect financial payments for doing chores

Greetings friends of Hive. I really love the topics proposed by the #weekendexperiences community, today I'll be answering one of the questions which is:
Should children gain financial reward for doing every day tasks and chores around the house?

My answer to this question will be yes and no. Yes in the sense that it will teach them to work before you can earn. Children should gain financial reward for doing chores but not all the time, so it won't become a habit. Also a child should be paid if the child helps out in the stores to sell goods, it shouldn't be paid as salary, but wages should do.

Then, no because it is on of the roles of children in the home. Imagine a home where the children don't help out with the chores, how will such children grow.
Children doing chores at home is teaching them to be responsible. So it's not necessary for them to be paid.

Growing up, I didn't have problem with doing chores. I and my siblings will wake up in the morning and after the morning prayer, we all go to our various places to do our own share of the work. Had it been our parents didn't teach us to do house chores and all, I believe we will be lazy and do nothing other than sleep, wake up and eat.

This is my response to one of the topics proposed by the #weekendexperiences community.
