Breakfast was a turkey sausage patty (homemade), scrambled egg, and cheese sandwich on a ciabatta roll. The walk at the trail was a little warmer than the last few days. It was a nice walk of about a mile and a third. There was no one on the trail today. We walked to the first bridge heading west and then walked in the opposite direction to a little past the first bridge to the east.
My wife and I went to a harvest festival at a place called the Algonquin Mill. They have old time demonstrations, food, vendors and car show. We walked around and checked some historical sites. This place is known for its sauerkraut so we bought a quart. We also stopped at the mill where we saw them grind various flours. We bought a bag of cornmeal and a bag of buckwheat flour. When we got home we had the leftover white chili for lunch.
Dinner was some of the sauerkraut we bought mixed with the leftover pork from the other day. I made some homemade applesauce and a bowl of mashed potatoes. We watched some YouTube videos and then my wife went up to work in her sewing room. I did the dishes and hung laundry. Anyway, thanks for reading.
