Hello, friends especially coffee lovers!
Lately when mommy took me to Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, which had many beaches we went to one of its’ beach area, ALOHA beach. The place has some cute areas to take photos. Let me tell you a bit first about this area before we talk about the coffee.
We arrived at the beach area in the afternoon, it was around 2 pm. Luckily the weather was sunny but also cloudy at the same time. The area had an “aloha” banner so you know when you already reached there.
Inside, we couldn’t go to the area that really close to the sea, it was unsafe so this area was restricted. As you could see it had white sand in the beach area.
Mommy took two photos of me near the iconic statue of the woman in the beach area (but it was not too close to the sea. As you could see many persons were there to take a photo with the statue.
Then finally, I could have a shoot there alone. Is the statue cute? Anyway it wears flower band and also flower necklace.
Enough with the beach, we strolled around, then looked at a café where we had our coffee that day.. the cafe is large and looked like a tropical mansion for me..
And this is only the back yard of the cafe. It had some tables outside.
The cafe had blue white color, my favorite colors. It had the accent of tropical by adding dry coconut leaves on the top of the front roof.
The place was so pretty that i took a photo there..
This cafe also had some chairs and a long table on one of their side. Look at those colorful rattan lamp, so cute!
Near their front door, they had banner of bicolor series croissant and season's delight drink. I thought that time i wanted to try the drink in the middle.
Inside, they still had the blue white dominant colour, with the wooden touch. The dining area they had on their first floor was not large and it was full of customers. They had motif ceramic floor that bring out some accent on the room.
This dining area also had some artificial plants inside too.
And also you could see their choices of croissants and others in their glasses showing case.
Then we should go to the second floor to dine in there.
Lucky for us, they had some empty chairs there. Second floor had different motif of the floor.
I also love how they organized the colorful rattan lamps on the ceiling.
For the menu, this cafe had french toast, croissant, egg benedict on english muffin, french omelette, avocado poached egg, truffle mushroom scramble toast and sauteed mushroom sourdough toast.
For the entree, they had salmon fattoush salad, le escargot, croque madame, crispy parmesan zucchini, baba ganoush, classic house salad, poached tuna salad, truffle parmesan french fries and rosemary chicken souvlaki.
For the soup and salad, they had sweet corn brulee soup, mushroom soup, french onion soup, classic caesar salad, vegetarian nicoise salad and quinoa salad.
For sandwiches, they had baguette chicken bacon, double cheese & ham, french onion mushroom sandwich, focarcia sandwich, and chicken pastrami focaccia sandwich.
For pizza, they had mushroom, seafood marinara, quattro formaggi, smoked chicken and margherita.
For pasta, they had angel hair aglio olio, fettuccine rosse, angel hair aglio olio, pumpkin tortellini zucchini sauce, spaghetti marinara, mac n cheese and spicy creamy rigatoni.
For main menus, they had pesto-crusted salmon, grilled octopus, roasted chicken, chicken cordon bleu, steak frites, and chicken tarragon.
For the desserts, they had éclair pâtissier, chocolate tartelette, salted caramel tartelette, opera, mango & calamansi lime mousse, ultimate chocolate cake, lemon cheesecake, raspberry and almond cake, lemon meringue tartelette, strawberry tartelette, royal monsieur spoon, cinnamon apple crumble, pure almond cake, vanilla cake and also tiramisu. They also offered their new tiramisu delights in iced tiramisu latte and hot tiramisu latte.
They also had their new croissant gelato in pistachio, chocolate and strawberry flavour. There you could also had the sweet chandelles packages which included viennoiseries and pastries or a complete one which included viennoiseries, pastries, slice cake and beverage.
And of course as café they had coffee and tea there. For coffee, they had café long black, café cappuccino, café oat cappuccino, café mocha, café latte, vanilla latte, caramel latte, hazelnut latte, crème brulee latte, oat latte, pistachio cookie latte, café espresso, café macchiato, café piccolo, café flat white, magic latte and babyccino. For chocolate, they had indulgent chocolate, indulgent chocolate with oat milk, fluffy marshmallow chocolate, and chocolate crumble latte.
For iced tea, they had iced tea, lychee iced tea, peach iced tea, strawberry iced tea and lemon iced tea. For hot tea, they had hot lemon tea, royal breakfast, chamomile, berrybiscous, nalesha peach and ubud garden.
For juice and drinks they also had kind of juice, smoothies, water, their signature drinks and mocktail.
On their last page, they also put on their beverages of the month which were green mint, plum cooler, and pineapple coco cooler.
While waiting for our menu to come, we took a photo there with their incredible rattan lamps.
Anyway I also love the marble tables they used there cause it gave the elegant touch to their room.
Not a long time of waiting then our orders came, these were what we ordered that day…
PISTACHIO COOKIE COFFEE LATTE
This was actually my second choice, but I couldn't have my first choice that day because unfortunately they didn’t have it. So weird because they showed the picture of it on their banner…. Well okay then let me tell you about this coffee latte. As you could see, it had cookie crumbled around. It also contained lots of latte. It had sweet but not too sweet flavour and also the coffee was a bit sour. But luckily it also had sense of pistachio flavour in it. Not the best latte I’ve ever tasted and I was not so in love with it. Just chilled coffee latte with pistachio flavour, that’s it.
To accompany our coffee, that day we also ordered
DOUBLE CHEESE & HAM CROISSANDWICH
It was cheese croissant, cut in the middle. Then it filled with melted cheese sliced, beef ham, fresh tomato and lettuce. The croissant was soft and flaky. Overall the taste was savory, and it was tasty.. but unfortunately it was not as large as it looked like in the picture of their menu.
Both mommy and I enjoyed our time there because it had quite tasty food and drink plus the ambience was so cozy… Maybe next time I would come and try their other menus.
