On Friday morning, my friend messaged in our group chat saying that we were going to the beach to chill and cook some grilled fish, so I agreed because I was hungover and wanted to get some fresh air. While my friend was out buying the food we were going to cook, I packed my things and prepared as well.
Fast forward, we arrived at the beach. By the way, we were at Costañera Beach Resort, which is easy to find because it's along the national road, and the entrance fee is 25 pesos per person. Once we entered, we immediately borrowed a table. The staff here is really nice because when no one is using a table, they let us borrow it for free. So, we set up the food and soft drinks we brought.
Then, I took a quick picture with the alcohol, but when I looked at it, I really felt nauseous because I was still hungover, and my friend brought more alcohol again.
Next, we moved to the tent because it started raining, and we didn’t want our things and food to get wet.
At this point, we took some pictures since we were about to eat, but before we ate, I told everyone to pray first.
After we ate, we decided to drink the alcohol we brought so that not just one of our friends would drink alone, and we all helped out.
In this part, my friends went swimming, but I just watched them because I was afraid to swim due to the strong waves. So, I decided to just take pictures around the area.
My little escape with friends was a perfect way to relax and recharge. The day was filled with laughter, good food, and unforgettable moments, all while enjoying the simple pleasures of being by the beach. Despite the hangover, the fresh air, and the company of great friends made it all worth it. It’s always nice to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and create memories that will last. I’m grateful for moments like these and can't wait for the next adventure with my friends!
