why Do I Want A Baby Girl Next

in voilk •  27 days ago

In my next pregnancy I want to have a baby girl, hear me out.

growing up I was a daddy's girl, you can practically call me his little shadow🤩.

Whenever he is at home, I must sit close to him, or jump over him. Sometimes I won't let him leave for work unless he played with me for a while then finds a way to ditch me. The only time I cared that I had a mom was when I needed to eat food and I always ate with my father, unless he was not at home
Don't get me wrong, I cherished my mother but I only wanted to be around my Dad more than anyone else in the world, my brain was kind of wired that way.

One of my vivid memories of when I was around three to four years old was when my mom had to travel to be with my sick grandmother for a while. Mom had wanted to take me along but I refused and insisted I would stay with my dad and my older brother, she should go with my little brother I said.

my mom with her teary eyes insisted I follow her, worried that my Dad may not be able to take very good care of me.

I was overjoyed when Dad told her not to worry, and that I could stay with him. I do not know how he did it, nor do I ever care, he took better care of me because all I could remember was that we had a lot of fun and beautiful memories together.

That particular time was one of the best parts of my childhood memories, as we bonded over doing many silly plays and fun activities together. Aside from that my most valuable life lessons started in those moments, to be present and cherish the most valuable thing we have, which is Time especially with our kids. One thing about my Dad is that he always made sure to play the role of my mom whenever she had to travel, he would make sure I never missed her that much.

fast-forward to now, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old son. He is more clingy towards me than his Dad, right from time. No matter where I'm, imagine me being inside the toilet, and he won't stop calling mama even if his Dad is right in the room with him. This makes me want to change my name to Papa sometimes lol 😆 the only time he remembers having a Dad is that time of the day, when he just comes back from work, after he runs to welcome his father that will be all, Next thing will be mama mama Mama

I thought maybe it was because I'm a work-from-home mom, and he always sees me around, but then I remembered how I used to glue to my Dad and
Couples with all the stories I read and some videos of other parents, I have watched. They all seem to agree that baby boys are more glued to their mothers. While baby girls are more clingy to their fathers?

I do not have any scientific evidence to back this up but as things stand right now, I'm changing my mind regarding the sex of my next baby God's willing. Initially, I wanted two baby boys but not anymore. If I can have my way, I would want my next baby to be a cute baby girl.

I want a payback time for hubby😅 , I want to hear her call Papa a thousand times while I just stay to one side and mind my business because she doesn't want me to carry her. I want hubby to feel what my Dad went through when I was growing up, both the sweet and the other side of it 😅

Dear Moms and Dads on the hive, is this belief true, who does your baby boy or girl glue to the most, Mom or Dad? And did you think I'm being fair in wanting a baby girl next?🤩

I would so much love to hear your stake and experience on this. Especially, from @nkemakonam89 a mother of three-star boys, what were they like when they were little?

This post was written from a heart filled with looooveeee❤, and I do hope you enjoy it as much as I did penning it down.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, bye for now🙏😍
