I was casually listening to a Spotify playlist while cleaning my room when an ad played. Normally, I would get kind of annoyed with repetitive ads and just want them to end. But this particular ad made me pause. I even looked forward to hearing it again 'cause I missed some parts.
This ad was about KFC Kentucky Town Music and Arts Festival. What caught my attention, aside from the awesome lineup of artists, was the word, "FREE."
Yup! You read that right. Free tickets to the music fest could be claimed by just presenting a 300-peso single receipt from KFC. How awesome is that, right???
So I checked KFC's Instagram account right away for extra confirmation, and I did find their post about it.
I immediately sent it to my cousin, niece, and nephew, and invited them to go since they like events like that, too. My nephew didn't get to join us though 'cause they had an event in school that same day.
We arrived in the venue fairly early, so we had time to go around and try out some booths for (again) free! hehe
Like what I previously mentioned, the event had an awesome lineup! I especially looked forward to the performances of Alamat, Rob Deniel, and Juan Karlos. But I enjoyed the set of Parokya ni Edgar as well! Grabe the energyyy. haha
It was a fun day! And looking forward to more events like this. 😊
