Hello everyone i hope you are well! To begin with, this is not a rant or something, this is a genuine post the first one that i actually make under this community! I will share both my excitement about the game and i will also raise some of my concerns in response to the post @acidyo made a couple of days ago.
First of all, i should start by saying that i am a huge believer in the project. I have staked 1K of Hive and i enjoy for some time knowing the Zing rewards. To tell you the truth i used some of my Zing earnings, or most of them to be exact to by my first Alpha Vial which i am quite excited about.
From what i read the vial will contain a starter creature that can evolve, some items like elixirs, food and capture ammo and there is a chance for a backpack, mount and capture device. From what i also read you have a higher chance of a better rarity in terms of your starter creature. To obtain this vial was really something for me as i intend to try the game out.
Also, i hold around 20k of Staked Zing, which is not much for most but it's something for me. My next goal will be 30k Staked and the ultimate goal it might be 50k but we will see. I don't know whether 20k for example will be like a decent amount or to buy a single potion the cost will be 10-20k.
Now the main reasons that i am excited about the game even though you won't me making 100 posts saying that, is that i am a gamer myself and i have basically played 90% of the Pokemon games. I am not a hardcore gamer in this genre like checking all the stats and stuff i play mostly for the story, the different creatures and their evolutions and not for the PVP aspect. Thus, when i heard that a game like this would come out and from a gamer i was super excited.
My Concerns
Now as everyone i also have my concerns which i am about to raise. These concerns don't have anything to do with the team or something, more like with the game itself as we haven't tested it out in terms of alpha or beta mode, thus we are in total black in a way.
So to begin with, one of my concerns as i have seen happening with literally every crypto-related game out there is whether the game will be paid to win. If yes most likely i will play a bit and then drop it out as everyone else. Also, will the game be extremely complicated or will be as simple as Pokemon?
In terms of complexity, Pokemon could be both, but if i wanted to play for fun and not PVP then i had the option. I am curious to see if that will be the case here as well and most importantly how will this be merged with the earning aspect. For example, if i play for fun will i earn some decent rewards or i will need to be a hardcore gamer in order to achieve that?
A final concern is the evolution fo the game and marketing aspect. I bet that at least 200-1000 players will try it out almost immediately. Will there be mechanisms in terms of gameplay and everything that will make us stick to the game and will also be marketing attempts to attract more people?
That was it for me today, i hope you all have a great day!
