Para los que siguen mi blog, saben que de vez en cuando aparecen ciertas versiones de mi misma, pero que son una especie de mis alteregos, que hacen sus travesuras frente a cámara. Pero la verdad sea dicha, detrás de cada uno de mis videos hay un gran trabajo hecho por yo misma, desde la idea, vestuario, maquillaje, edición y demás.
Las primeras apariciones de "la vecina", a quien luego bauticé como Débora, fueron unos ejercicios de improvisación que salieron bastante bien, pero cuando subí el nivel al hacer cambios de vestuario y de escenarios, tocó apelar a los conocimientos adquiridos en la universidad, donde estudié comunicación social, y tocó empezar a trabajar con storyboards, para grabarlo todo, antes de cambiarme el maquillaje y el outfit.
Ni hablar de cuando empezaron a aparecer mis personajes masculinos, teniendo que pintarme barba y bigotes.Se imaginan que luego de limpiarme el rostro me hubiese faltado hacer alguna toma?
Trabajar con storyboards quizás les resulte algo complejo o una pérdida de tiempo, pero la verdad es que cuando no se trata de un storytelling, y además hay muchos detalles a tomar en cuenta, son una gran ayuda para hacer todo lo que corresponde sin obviar los detalles que vas a lamentar al momento de editar, o peor, te vas a ganar el odio de tu editor!
Justo estaba haciendo limpieza en mi escritorio, y me encontré con estos que son de algunos sketch que hice para la comunidad de @hiveargentina y la colaboración con @elbuhito, y quise compartirselos, para que vean que la magia no empieza delante de la cámara, sino en el trozo de un papel.

But truth be told, behind each of my videos there is a great amount of work done by myself, from the idea, wardrobe, makeup, editing, and more.
The first appearances of "the neighbor," who I later named Deborah, were some improvisation exercises that turned out quite well, but when I raised the bar by changing costumes and scenarios, I had to resort to the knowledge acquired in college, where I studied social communication, and had to start working with storyboards to record everything before changing my makeup and outfit.
Not to mention when my male characters started to appear, having to paint on beards and mustaches. Can you imagine if I had forgotten to take a shot after cleaning my face?
Working with storyboards may seem somewhat complex or a waste of time to you, but the truth is, when it's not just about storytelling, and there are many details to consider, they are a great help to do everything that needs to be done without overlooking the details that you will regret at the editing stage, or worse, you will earn the hatred of your editor!
