Regatta in front of the temple - watercolors on paper

Merry Christmas to all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my favorite subject, seascape with sailboats. Approximately I will have painted at least 500 subjects, rough seas, calm, sunset with clear skies, surreal, metaphysical, realistic a bit like today's one. As you can see I depicted two sailboats in racing trim in front of a view of a mountain with a classical temple on top. I played a lot with warm colors of the mountain and the temple and cold colors of the sky but especially the sea. I chose the vertical format to emphasize the large sails of the two boats. I will leave you all the steps of the creative process and I want to wish you all the best Christmas.

Regata davanti al tempio - acquarelli su carta

Buon Natale a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio soggetto preferito, il paesaggio marino con barche a vela. Approssimativamente ne avrò dipinti almeno 500 soggetti, mari agitati, calmi, al tramonto con cieli sereni, surreali, metafisici, realisti un pò come qurllo di oggi. Come potete vedere ho raffigurato due barche a vela in assetto di regata davanti ad uno scorcio di una montagna con un tempio classico in cima. Ho giocato molto con colori caldi della montagna e del tempio e quelli freddi del cielo ma soprattutto del mare. Ho scelto il formato verticale per enfatizzare le grandi vele delle due barche. Vi lascio tutti gli steps del processo creativo e voglio augurarvi il miglior Natale possibile a tutti.
