Teenage days challenge!

    Hello, guys!

Today, I decided to join the Teenage Days challenge because I’m one of those people who love going through old photos and videos, reminiscing about how things used to be, because it was really great, and there’s a lot to remember 😁

    So, let’s begin 😉

Here, I’m about 14 years old, give or take. As I realize now, I already loved taking pictures back in my teenage years. I would borrow my godmother’s professional camera and take pictures of everything. Literally. But most often, I would hang out with friends and photograph them, and they would photograph me. So, on this day, I grabbed a classmate, and we went to take photos in the schoolyard 😂 Back then, it was trendy to take photos against the backdrop of abandoned buildings, schools—no one cared about having an aesthetic background.
My clothing style perfectly reflects that time, which is approximately 2007-2008. And wow, I had such a cool natural hair color 😍 Now, looking at these photos, I want to shake my younger self and say: ‘Why did you dye your hair??’

Year 2007. I’m in the center of the photo, my younger brother is on the left, and my younger sister is on the right. Do you know where we are? In Crimea… Back in the day, our whole family (three families) would go to Crimea every summer for a beach vacation. I loved those times so much… and I loved Crimea. We would always rent the same house right on the beach, with each of the three families taking one floor. We swam a lot, visited water parks, sailed on yachts, went on excursions, played games together in the evenings, grilled fish by the sea, and had so much fun.
I’m really looking forward to when Crimea will be ours again, and I’ll be able to return there.

I don’t remember the year. These are my old friends. We organized a photoshoot in the city center, and in all the photos, we are together and very happy. We used to go to hip-hop classes, hang out, go to daytime discos, and we were everywhere together. The girls were a bit mischievous and very fun, and of course, I wasn’t left behind 😁
In general, I used to have a lot of friends, and there was always something to do—sometimes, I didn’t even know what to choose for the day because of all the options 😄 But I definitely photographed everything, everyone, and everywhere, even if I stayed at home.

Phew, what a great challenge! If you like this and are interested, I’ll post another one with three more photos from my teenage years ☺️

Join the challenge and share your own teenage photos!
