Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
I hope you spent a nice weekend!
Today here the Sun is shining on the sky and it's warm, it seems to be in the Springtime!
I started my week in a different way: I spent the most part of the morning with the 2 wonderful twins (6 months old), the sons of the cousin of my hubby.
Their dad has the flu and so the mom (Diana) asked me to help her a little. Working at home as a freelance and living close to them make me easy to give them an help when they are in need and, to be honest, I like so much those 2 wonderful smiling ones!
While I was going to them walking along the side of the river close to my home I noticed the female wood duck or Carolina duck ( the Aix sponsa) came back to us after she was away fro a couple of months!
It's not common to see this kind of duck here and I think she came here from a park. Since she arrived she use to stay with a group of mallard ducks and I've never seen around a male wood duck.
I had my camera (a Nikon coolpix B700) with me and so I took some pics to share with you:
