San Miguel del Monte o vulgarmente llamado Monte, es una ciudad situada en la provincia de Buenos Aires, distante 80 km de Ezeiza, por tierra, según Google Maps. La idea era ir por tierra en su mayor parte y volver en tren.

Esta vez no llegue tarde, como cuando fuimos a General Las Heras, pero tuvimos que pasar por una localidad Sepegazzini, para buscar a una de las Rosas del grupo, para luego si, transitar por la 52, camino a ruta 6 y luego seguir hasta la Fortuna, para finalmente encarar el último trayecto más pesado, por la arena, hasta Monte.

[English] This time I was not late, as when we went to General Las Heras, but we had to pass through a locality Sepegazzini, to look for one of the Rosas of the group, and then yes, to travel along the 52, on the way to route 6 and then continue to La Fortuna, to finally face the last heaviest route, through the sand, to Monte.
Mucha tierra liviana, arena, sol, viento y todo el condimento que los ciclistas que amamos el mundo rural bike buscamos. Hubo pinchaduras de cámaras, que por suerte lo resolvimos muy bien, pero en líneas generales, todos llegamos a destino sin ningún problema, ni técnico/mecánico, ni físico.
! [English]Lots of light dirt, sand, sun, wind and all the spice that cyclists who love the rural bike world look for. There were flat tires, which luckily we solved very well, but in general terms, we all arrived at our destination without any problems, neither technical/mechanical nor physical.
En la Fortuna ya teníamos un poco más de 40 km y nos sentíamos muy bien realmente. En lo particular, tomar el agua de ese molino no me hizo muy bien y sinceramente tenía agua en mi caramañola, pero lo tome porque fui a buscar agua para una compañera y recordé, que en otro episodio y en otro molino tome agua y realmente sabia muy rica. Cosa que no paso acá y por suerte no me causo ningún tipo de molestia estomacal.
! [English] In La Fortuna we already had a little more than 40 km and we were feeling really good. In particular, drinking the water from that mill did not do me much good and honestly I had water in my caramañola, but I took it because I went to get water for a colleague and I remembered that in another episode and in another mill I drank water and it tasted really good. Something that didn't happen here and luckily it didn't cause me any kind of stomach discomfort.
Conocimos una parte de Monte y realmente quedamos maravillados por todo. Desde la pulcritud de sus calles, la amabilidad de su gente y por supuesto, por los precios del lugar. Aquí se puede venir a pasar unos días, una semana o quizás un fin de semana, ya que cuenta con cabañas al costado de su hermosa laguna y tiene muchas opciones para pasarla bien. Canoas, deportes acuáticos, pescar, darse un chapuzón, hacer un asado y muchos etcéteras.
! [English] We visited a part of Monte and we were really amazed by everything. From the neatness of its streets, the kindness of its people and of course, the prices of the place. Here you can come to spend a few days, a week or maybe a weekend, as it has cabins next to its beautiful lagoon and has many options to have a good time. Canoeing, water sports, fishing, taking a dip, having a barbecue and so on.
Un monumento al emblemático arquero de la selección argentina y por supuesto del mejor equipo de futbol del mundo, River Plate, llamado Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. Lo de River es discutible 😄, pero así lo siento. Según Wikipedia, el arquero mencionado es de esta localidad.

Luego de una panzada, disfrutando de los enormes sandwiches del lugar, nos dispusimos a charlar frente a la laguna, ya que nuestro tren de regreso, recién a las 17 horas, salía a destino. Luego de una pedaleada bien contundente, el tercer tiempo es lo mejor que te puede pasar y más si estás en un lugar con todos los servicios. Hasta pudimos disfrutar de unos mates con bizcochuelo, que una de las Rosas, había llevado.
! [English] After a long lunch, enjoying the huge sandwiches of the place, we got ready to chat in front of the lagoon, since our return train, only at 5 pm, was leaving for our destination. After a very strong ride, the third time is the best thing that can happen to you, especially if you are in a place with all the services. We were even able to enjoy some mates with bizcochuelo, which one of the Rosas had brought along.
Por suerte pudimos tomar el único tren que estaba estipulado para esa hora, con destino a Cañuelas y luego otro tren, hasta Ezeiza. Cansados, pero muy felices por la experiencia y la posibilidad de conocer nuestros pueblos, que son tan bellos y no están tan lejos. Agradezco a la persona que me invito a andar en bicicleta, porque el cambio fue rotundo en mi vida. En ocasiones, lo abandono un poco, porque realizo otras actividades deportivas, pero en mi mente siempre está presente, ya que lo considero sanadora.
