My Ever Loved Ones

Who is that special person to you? Someone you would always remember, always stand for, always love, always protect, always….
I felt so emotional when I got to find out about today's prompt for the #juneinleo daily prompts. The prompt moved me, what a time to let others know about those who have a place in our hearts!
I told myself that I wouldn't be personally comfortable if I didn't share my ideas and check out others' too on the prompt for today.

It's often said, "If you want to forget anyone in this world, it should never be those that once placed food on your table". I must say that the people I admire most in my life are my parents. Though I missed my dad at an early age, he is still my hero. They have shaped me into the personality I'm enjoying today. My elder brother who has taken up the responsibility of fatherhood in the family can never be left out. He is my second hero, I wish to work to be better than him. Why do I say so? It's often said, "Have role models, but try to be greater than them so that you will be a role model to someone else tomorrow". I admire these individuals whose absence I'm sure would have been the end of my proper upbringing and healthy life. I also admire all my siblings but I admire these special ones the most.

Just as I detailed in the former paragraph, my parents and elder siblings are my home role models, the first set of people in my life but outside home, I have people who are very special to me, my Teachers.

Teachers are a very special group of people. They are the real cause of change in the world. If the first men had not passed their knowledge, I guess most early discoveries influencing industrialization, civilization and science advancement wouldn't have been feasible.

I admire my teachers so much. I love them, I can fight for them, stand for them, I can go miles for them. Without teachers, I wouldn't be able to speak English fluently. If I want to learn Spanish today, who do I meet?
My teachers are very special to me. Not only teachers in formal education settings. I also inclusively recognize my cooking and baking teachers, music teachers and even my parents are my greatest and ever close teachers.

I have been putting much focus on the adults, but unfailingly I won't forget the babies of the house. I live with my elder brother who is a father of two. Most times my Aunty's friend brings her fair baby too. These two children often bring smiles to my face whenever they come to me begging for movie time. Either they request a cartoon or a wheel ride. I can't forget the joy, excitement and energy they show off when jumping and singing with the rhymes I play with my phone. These two children have left lasting memories in my mind. Though I most times get tired and bored of playing with them for a long time, the source of their energy is what I have been trying to phantom out, these children can jump, sweat and sing for up to an hour without showing any signs of fatigue. Life of happiness and unending smile is the best cure to depression and any emotional challenge.

They have taught me patience, love and passion. I love them even as I would love my children, I can't wait to be a father, I know the admiration will be greater by then.

This is my entry for the #juneinleo prompt of the day, day #25.
