Let me start the post with giving you all some numbers tied to the #COLONY tokens which is in game currency of MoonKarts.. The numbers that we would be looking into is as per today and those numbers would be tied to - Total Supply, Total Liquid, Total Staked and the current price of the token. So here we go are the numbers::
Total Supply:: 286+ Million
Total Liquid:: 210+ Million
Total Staked:: 76+ Million
#COLONY Price:: $0.001 Approx.
The numbers speaks for itself and tells you the story how early one is if they are earning #COLONY tokens. The best part is that a good number of the tokens are staked and folks who have staked their tokens are earning decent rewards for which currently I am not aware what the APR numbers are looking like to be honest. Here is what I go to know from the whitepaper of the game on the distribution of rewards and tied to #COLONY reward tokens distribution which is as follows::
40% distributed to the Orbitals Pool
25% distributed to the Ranking Pool
10% allotted to the COLONY tokens that are found on the race track
5% to the Referral Pool
20% towards the Seasonal Pool
COLONY - Staking 100K+ Tokens - My Strategy Ahead...
Lets now have a look at the #COLONY tokens I #hodl for now and my plans ahead for it. As evident from the above image I went ahead with staking 100K+ #COLONY tokens that I got from the Airdrop and I had collected via the rewards system. And the good news is that one still get rewards for staking GLX [Genesis league] and Splinterlands SPS tokens. Yeah I know its not that too much but something is better then nothing and getting them daily helps you build a good stack. My strategy ahead is going to build a decent stack for #COLONY tokens and my first stance here is going to be have 500K+ #COLONY staked. So how I am going to do that is the big question to be answered. Well I have already crafted a plan for now and that is all the staking rewards that I get will be redirected to the pool that's the first step for now.
Next I move on the try earning it via. the in game methods mainly via the Ranking reward Pool but for now not sure how much #COLONY tokens I will be able to acquire here hence not relying much from this method for now. Finally, I would also be looking into the internal market i.e. Hive-engine where currently its being traded. If I were to achieve my GOAL here of having 500K+ #COLONY tokens at once then I need another 400K+ COLONY tokens and that would cost me around 544+ #HIVE at current trading price of the token. For now I should be keeping a watch on the price of the tokens and a sharp decline from here would be a buy signal for me. Lets see how this pans out i near future.
