Hypnotized By The Food, Left With Wandering Thoughts

This is a picture of bingsu. Bingsu is one of my favorite desserts along with pizookie, Mcflurry and some other ones that I just can't think at the top of my head. I had this at a Korean dessert shop after lunch with my boss. The restaurant is called Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe and they have four outlets. The one we went to was in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Anyways, bingsu is basically milk based shaved ice along with other toppings. The one in the photo has a vanilla ice cream on top with some condensed milk and mangos around it. It's a nice, refreshing and sweet dessert and I feel most people would like it provided they aren't allergic to milk or hate sweet food.

This is a bit random but when we were looking through the menu I told my boss I was going to order this mango one. Then he told me about how India has the best mangos and he had doubts about ordering this one. In the end, we ended up ordering the mango bingsu. He seemed to be pleasantly surprised that the mangos were still pretty good. We were able to ask the people working there about where the mangos were from and it turned out the mangos were from Thailand.

I wouldn't say bingsu specifically is particularly important to be me but in general, food is important to me. We need food to live but for me it's more than that. If I'm going to eat food, I want to eat delicious food. This view on food probably came around when I was around 21 years old I think. Before that, I don't think I quite cared that much since when I was a kid I just ate whatever my mom cooked even though sometimes I didn't like it like eggplant for example. Don't get me wrong my mom was a great cook but there's some food that maybe I wasn't so much of a fan of but just ate because it was my mom's food. My mom did great at making sure my brother and I had a healthy balanced diet. Making sure we eat our vegetables and fruits even though the both of us loved meat more. You can see that I do have some restaurant reviews in my past blogs so that definitely helps prove about my love for food.

Lately, I have thought about opening a restaurant in the future. This will be when I'm older maybe over 40 or 50 and have more money. I think it would be something interesting to start up and I would probably have a partner or two to invest together with. I would need to find a good chef though and staff to help make it a great restaurant. I talked to someone yesterday at an event. He was a restaurant owner and told me that he decided to start a restaurant because he loved food.

I kind of went all over the place today. I'm curious about how others feel about food. What kind of desserts do you like? Do you also like enjoying great food and going on food adventures trying new restaurant that have good ratings?
