Garden Of Emotions.

After so much contemplation, I relocated to my new home because I craved peace more than anything.

Before now, I've been living in a bustling city with so much noise and chaos, so for a change and a new life, I opted for a remote area away from all the noise, a place where I can plant and watch my garden bloom, a simple life, and a life with so much positivity.

I made the right choice because my new home had very fertile soil, which made gardening so much more seamless. Because of this, I ensured to plant various kinds of flowers to decorate my home and more than filter the air that I breathed in, which boosted my mental health.

My backyard was filled with various kinds of herbs, like basil, rosemary, thyme, lavender, lemon balm, bay leaf, and lemongrass. Adjacent to it were the orange seedlings I planted since I wanted an orange tree so badly. There were also lime, coconut, olive, baobab, papaya, and walnut trees.

In front of my compound, I planted beautiful flowers like tulips, sunflowers, lilies, carnations, and lavender.

Every morning, whenever I try to water my garden, I notice something strange; it is more like the garden suddenly starts growing those plants that seem to respond to my emotions.

On the first day of the experiment, I woke up feeling so happy, and then these plants began to bloom. The flowers were so radiant and elegant; the herbs were fluffy and had a pleasant fragrance; and the trees had a subtle dance in their leaves, leaving me feeling so refreshed that morning.

The next day was like a game changer because I was stressed from all the burdens that weighed upon my mind. I managed to find my way to my garden to water them, but the once radiant leaves, which had so much vitality, began to droop.

"Why are they all looking like this?" I paused for a moment to reflect on why the plants didn't bloom like they did yesterday, and then I sensed the connection between my green companions and the well-being of the plants in my garden.

Even though I was forced to wear a smile, it still failed to bloom as it should, so I decided to be intentional about my mood. This was like a wake-up call to practice mindfulness, as my mood affected my gardens, and since my garden was the only place I found tranquillity, I decided to stay more positive every day to see them bloom just how I liked it.

I began to realize I needed to practice more resilience and keep my worries at bay because they affected almost everyone and everything around me.

No wonder when one wakes up in a bad mood, it is almost like they will have a bad day if they don't become intentional about their happiness.

I used my garden as a reflective tool, just as I want everyone around me to bloom and foster, how much I want prosperity, and to flourish, so it became a constant and consistent effort to approach my green companion with so much care.

In my garden, I found solace, growth, and an extraordinary connection to the natural world. My garden became a living testament that how we approach life, uncertainties, and other emotional affairs has a great deal to do with human emotions, our environment, and the beauty that can blossom when tended with care and intentionality.
