The day started off sunny but later the clouds rolled in and dumped some more sleet and rain on us. Fortunately we were able to enjoy both our morning walk and a loop around Lynx Lake in good weather.
As usual Lulu was ready to go as soon as the sun was out and today we moved along fairly quickly except for a quick pause to say "hi" to our friends.
Lynx Lake wasn't too crowded so a except had the trails mostly to ourselves.
There were a few spots that were still wet and muddy from the recent rain and even snow so I had to slow down just a bit while Lulu zipped on ahead.
The clouds kept on getting darker and darker as we circled around the southern end of the lake and hurriedly made our way back along the paved trail. The wind picked up and the temperature dropped so that we were feeling the cold front hit as we finished our hike and made our way home as wet sleet and snow fell.
