Flame Mephit — Social Voilk

Buenas noches a todos. Hoy para mi entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands elegí dibujar a la carta de Flame Mephit, creo que nunca la había dibujado y hoy tenia ganas de pintar algo colorido, aunque los tonos cálidos no son mi fuerte ni mis favoritos quise intentarlo ya que me sentía de humor hoy, fue bastante complicado terminarlo debido al poco tiempo que tuve pero al final el resultado me gusto bastante, algo muy difícil para mi fue el cabello ya que tenia que parecer cabello pero a la vez fuego, intente no darle demasiado realismo para que no quedara mal, ya que a veces cuando buscamos la perfección terminamos arruinando algo que al principio funcionaba bien, en fin, espero que les guste.

Today for my entry to the @Splinterlands contest I chose to draw the Flame Mephit card, I think I had never drawn it and today I felt like painting something colorful, although warm tones are not my forte nor my favorite I wanted to try it since I was feeling in the mood today, it was quite complicated to finish it due to the short time I had but in the end I liked the result quite a lot, something very difficult for me was the hair because it had to look like hair but at the same time fire, I tried not to give it too much realism so it wouldn't look bad, sometimes when we look for perfection we end up ruining something that at the beginning worked well, anyway, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y comencé a pintar la piel, muy pocas veces uso colores oscuros para la piel asi que se me hizo un poco complicado, utilice una gama de marrones oscuros y claros y empecé a colocar luces y sombras, en una capa nueva añadí mas colores para darle forma por completo a toda la piel, empecé a difuminar estos colores para dejar una piel suave y a la vez con una ligera textura, luego aplique color a la ropa colocando un verde oscuro de base.

I made the sketch and started to paint the skin, I rarely use dark colors for the skin so it was a little complicated, I used a range of dark and light browns and started to place lights and shadows, in a new layer I added more colors to give shape to the whole skin, I started to blur these colors to leave a soft skin and at the same time with a light texture, then I applied color to the clothes placing a dark green as a base.

Ilumine la ropa con verde claro y le di volumen en ciertas zonas, realmente no quise detallar demasiado la ropa, me ocupe de lo más difícil: el cabello. Para esto coloqué un color naranja de base y luego empecé a iluminar con amarillos y oscurecer un poco mas con rojos oscuros, di pinceladas hasta tener una textura de fuego, para el fondo quise usar un tono oscuro y luego abajo una iluminación con naranja oscuro, luego empecé a pintar fuego en la parte de adelante y tambien algunas chispas de fuego alrededor de la imagen, añadí luces en el rostro para resaltar algunas zonas importantes y finalmente edite la imagen dándole un tono más cálido y aumentando e intensificando los colores.

I illuminated the clothes with light green and gave volume in certain areas, I didn't really want to detail the clothes too much, I took care of the most difficult part: the hair.
For this I placed an orange base color and then I started to lighten with yellows and darken a little more with dark reds, I gave brushstrokes until I had a fire texture, for the background I wanted to use a dark tone and then down a dark orange lighting, then I started to paint fire in the front and also some sparks of fire around the image, I added lights in the face to highlight some important areas and finally I edited the image giving it a warmer tone and increasing and intensifying the colors.
