Good evening hivers, finally here I am with the continuation of our road trip towards Lama Mocogno in the Emilian Apennines, if you want to read my first two posts on this trip you can find the links at the bottom of the post.
After making various stops towards the late afternoon we arrived in Lama Mocogno, this town is located near the Mocogno torrent and the Scoltenna torrent, it is approximately 800 meters above sea level, in fact the climate was cool especially at night, it is an important crossroads for the mountain villages and has been so since ancient times, many villages can be reached from Lama Mocogno which is also the reason why we chose this place to sleep. The town is quite quiet and has various simple attractions, a few shops and various events in the summer period. We found it to be a quiet season because the weather wasn't the best but we relaxed a lot.
As soon as we arrived we were quite hungry and we went to the main bar of the place, the Big Bar where the keys to our apartment were waiting for us. Before going up to the house we asked for something to eat, for me a herbazzone, a typical dish of the region, a sort of savory herb cake, really tasty, my husband had another typical dish, a schnitzel sandwich. We sat down and immediately felt at home, we sat on a terrace with a wonderful view of the city and lots of flowers to decorate and make everything more beautiful. We enjoyed our snack with pleasure and then went up to the house.

Buenas noches hivers, por fin aquí estoy con la continuación de nuestro viaje por carretera hacia Lama Mocogno en los Apeninos Emilianos, si queréis leer mis dos primeros posts sobre este viaje podéis encontrar los enlaces al final del post. Luego de hacer varias paradas hacia el final de la tarde llegamos a Lama Mocogno, este pueblo está ubicado cerca del torrente Mocogno y del torrente Scoltenna, está aproximadamente a 800 metros sobre el nivel del mar, de hecho el clima era fresco especialmente por las noches, es un importante cruce de caminos para los pueblos de montaña y lo ha sido desde la antigüedad, se puede llegar a muchos pueblos desde Lama Mocogno, razón por la cual elegimos este lugar para dormir.
La ciudad es bastante tranquila y cuenta con varias atracciones sencillas, algunas tiendas y diversos eventos en el período estival. Nos pareció una temporada tranquila porque el tiempo no era el mejor pero nos relajamos mucho. Nada más llegar teníamos bastante hambre y nos dirigimos al bar principal del lugar, el Big Bar donde nos esperaban las llaves de nuestro apartamento. Antes de subir a casa pedimos algo de comer, para mí un herbazzone, un plato típico de la región, una especie de pastel salado de hierbas, muy rico, mi marido pidió otro plato típico, un sándwich de escalope. Nos sentamos e inmediatamente nos sentimos como en casa, nos sentamos en una terraza con una vista maravillosa de la ciudad y muchas flores para decorar y embellecer todo. Disfrutamos con mucho gusto de nuestra merienda y luego subimos a la casa.
After the snack we went up to the apartment and were satisfied with it, a simple and clean house located in the center of the town, quite spacious and with all the necessary comforts, thanks Airbnb, put our bags down and took a quick shower we went to explore the town , starting with the large column with a map of all the nearby towns drawn, a very well done and useful map for orientation or choosing new destinations, then we continued through the streets of the town, delightful, full of small shops, a pleasant walk underneath the porches enjoying the coolness of the mountain, after which we decided to have dinner at home and then take another walk in the evening. I'll tell you about the rest of the walk in another post because there's really a lot to tell.

Después de la merienda subimos al apartamento y quedamos satisfechos con él, una casa sencilla y limpia situada en el centro del pueblo, bastante espaciosa y con todas las comodidades necesarias, gracias Airbnb, dejamos las maletas y nos dimos una ducha rápida. Fuimos a explorar el pueblo, empezando por la columna grande con un mapa de todos los pueblos cercanos dibujados, un mapa muy bien hecho y útil para orientarnos o elegir nuevos destinos, luego seguimos por las calles del pueblo, encantadoras, llenas de pequeños tiendas, un agradable paseo bajo los porches disfrutando del frescor de la montaña, tras el cual decidimos cenar en casa y luego dar otro paseo por la tarde. El resto del paseo os lo contaré en otro post porque realmente hay mucho que contar.
